FA Raspberry question with FA Fuji

I have tried FA Raspberry and never liked it. I made a recipe from DIY or Die (Rhodonite), but had to make three major subs due to not having what he called for, so I am not sure what it is supposed to taste like.

What I did notice is he likes FA Fuji and Raspberry mixed. I used his percentages but used 0.5% FA Raspberry and 1% FA Fuji. The Raspberry tastes good. Is this due to the FA Fuji blending the Raspberry? I cannot taste apple at all, which is good.

Do you think I would have similar results with a different Raspberry recipe if using a combo with FA Fuji?

@joeyboy So the apple is very subtle and really only adds to the tartness of the raspberry. INW raspberry gives a really nice sweet candy type raz flavor that works so well in this recipe and shouldn't be subbed. Though, if you find that FA Rasp and FA fuji still give you that nice sweet and tart flavor then by all means. When you can, try and get INW Rasp Koncentrat. Not only will it make your Rhodonite the flavor you should be getting, but it's an amazing Raspberry flavoring in itself. Hope that helps!

Thanks. It is good with FA but probably not as sweet as it should be. I have really been studying the flavor profile as I vape it. I will get that one when I order again. I was unsure of the recipe but after some steep it is really good. I know the right rasp would help. I also subbed with cap cake batter and one other so it still won't be perfect.
