Is TFA Tiramisu a possible sub for FA Tiramisu? Are they different?

they definitely have different tastes but I would absolutely sub one for the other if was missing the org 'called for' flavor.. will at least get you in the ballpark .. keep in mind to up the % of the TFA vs the FA as it's not as strong.

The original called for 1% FA Tiramisu, what percentage should I use with TFA ?

would say prob need 2 /3% altho it is listed by tfa as a strong flavor ... be on the safe side mix it at 1% let it sit I'd say at least 1 day and taste it .. you can always add more! :ejuice:

Thanks I'll do just that I was scared to get the TFA Tiramisu because I've seen guys on reddit saying it's terrible. Just one more question. How do these 2 differ in taste?

Well I definitely think the FA is better .. each his own tho.... not a favorite flavor of mine so have only tried the TFA once or twice .. once I started with the FA i stuck with that..

well if your ordering ( was under the impression it's what you had already) and think its a flavor you would like I would get both haha - nothing you read will tell you better than when you taste it

I have gotten flavors that EVERYONE thinks are the bomb.. only to find out 'meh' ..not for me lol

FA Tiramisu is currently out of stock at the vendor. I read up the the FA one is the best and that's what the recipe called for. I needed to know if the TFA Tiramisu would give a totally different taste as to what the FA Tiramisu would've given. The recipe is simple with 1% Fa Tiramisu and about 3 creams.

I'd keep it at the same 1% also, as Tiramisu is a strong flavor.

If you've got the TFA on hand I'd go for it.

I agree. If you don't have it but 99% of the other flavors go for it. Yup. Gets you into the ballpark.

That doesn't mean it will be a homerun. But it may tell you enough on topics like... Do you like tiramisu flavoring...like the general basic profile.

As for me. I'll only own the FA version because I like the dark complex profile it provides. I don't think any flavor vendor will get close to what I want. Just personal opinion.

I agree with you based on what I read. The FA version definitely seems to be what I need in terms of the flavor profile. I did add the TFA version as that's the only Tiramisu the vendor had. I will try the recipe using TFA version and as soon as I can get my hands on the FA version I'll get it.

I have both FA and TFA. The FA is miles ahead on flavor. The recipe will not be even close to the same flavor. If you happen to like your mix with TFA, you'll love it with FA. To me, the TFA has a chalky burnt taste. The FA has a layered profile, chocolaty coffee goodness.
