Alex Ross' Fantastic Four: Full Circle is easily one of the best new graphic novels of the past several years, hence why it was nominated for IGN's Best Comic Book Series or Original Graphic Novel award in 2022. With the FF due to return to the big screen in 2025, it's only fitting that Abrams ComicArts rereleases that graphic novel in a new, expanded format.

Fantastic Four: Full Circle (Expanded Edition) features 288 pages of new content, including Ross' black-and-white artwork and creator commentary, a cover gallery of his work on the monthly Fantastic Four series, and a reprint of 1966's Fantastic Four #51 (which inspired this graphic novel).

With Fantastic Four: Full Circle (Expanded Edition) in stores now, IGN can exclusively debut a new preview of the book. Check out the slideshow gallery below to see some of the behind-the-scenes pages featured in the new edition:

Fantastic Four: Full Circle was the first collaboration between Marvel and Abrams ComicArts, though that partnership has grown to include other graphic novels like 2023's The Super Hero's Journey. Full Circle is a psychedlic tribute to Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's Fantastic Four comics from the 1960s.

“I had always remembered this idea that was brought up to me," Ross told IGN in 2022. "And I thought, just about the most audacious thing you could do is go back to what is commonly considered one of the most famous stories that [Kirby and Lee] ever did and do a sequel to it.”

Fantastic Four: Full Circle (Expanded Edition) is available in stores now. You can order a copy on Amazon.

Ross is also revisiting one of his most iconic graphic novels in the form of a feature-length documentary called The Legend of Kingdom Come.
