Has anyone ever ordered the 50 count pre cut 18650 wraps from fasttech? I was wondering if they were cheap quality or good quality seeing as they sell em so so so cheap! They're $1.44 for 50 of em! Is there such thing as a crappy wrap? Thanks!

I'd like to find some pre-printed with the same print that is on the OEM batteries.
For the 25r, HE2, HG2 and such.
Then again, maybe it'd just be in my best interest to research how I can print my own labels directly onto the heat shrink.
That way I can add the date and maybe a personalized number indicating the married pair or triple.

This would be perfect! Just have the batteries labeled by married pairs almost permanently so you'll never forget! What do people mark them with anyways? A sharpie? Is that even safe? Lol

I use a sharpie but it always wears off so I rewrite regularly.
On batteries with thinner wraps (based on how they fit in my tighter mods) I write then cover with clear tape.
The thin layer does not add to heat insulating, if anything, helps distribute.

Good to know the FT ones are good quality. $1 each at a B&M or $1.47 for 50 from FT..... Hmmmmmm....

I bought 50 of each for 18350, 490 and 650. I don't think I will ever need another battery wrap!

My thoughts exactly! I ordered a 10 pack of wraps from battwraps.com to have on hand, and I also ordered the 50 pack from fasttech, I don't mind waiting a month for a deal like that! I mean, damn! Haha

Very cool. I ordered these last week..... https://www.fasttech.com/p/2155601

It am concerned about not being able to see small tears now that I saw this fact mentioned. Think this will be the case?
Small tears where? If you see them and can replace them then do so..If you dont have wraps to replace torn wraps then try using some tape or something temporarily until you can replace the wrap..you may also want to see whats causing these tears and fix that issue

Hey quick question since we're all here, what voltage do you guys charge your batteries at? My rx200s is showing 2 batteries at 3.8, 3.8, and 3.7. what's a good rule of thumb to charge these things?

Someone else posted on VU that it is almost impossible to see very small tears on the clear/translucent wraps vs standard coloured ones. I don't have the clear ones in hand yet, so hence my question.

I use mech mods almost exclusively, so small tears in battery wraps could be a very bad thing...

You can easily feel them when they are in your hands though...and get dirty under the cuts/tears...its much more noticeable then you will think

I bought 100 clear wraps from Ft for a buck and change. I've had no issues with em. Tears can be hard to spot but easy to feel. A good examination at each battery change is all it takes, you would notice it. I'm re wrapping cells as often as @raymo2u is switching builds. lol not really but I could.

It's cool to see you here raymo I left the vaporium forums, where can I see some sick builds?

I'm waiting for my battery wraps to come in, gonna be a while because I took the free shipping. But I'm glad to hear they're good quality! I have never rewrapped a battery, but it comes with owning my new mod, so I'm gonna learn lol probably gonna be all shaky and over cautious the first time, but we'll see! People say the rewraps are thicker than the manufacturer wraps, is that true? The green wrap on my Samsung 25r cells seems pretty thin.

Yes compared to the 25R's normal wrap they are thicker and tougher, almost feel like thin lexan
