After polling the community on social media last week, Square Enix has confirmed that Moogles will indeed be included in Final Fantasy XV.
Game director Hajime Tabata confirmed the inclusion of the iconic (and adorable) Final Fantasy companions in a trio of posts on Twitter, noting that the addition "will be done with a suitably light level of development work as a fun little #FFXV extra."
