First diy order help on vendors

I've done alot if research and just wanted to get your experienced opinions on where to get my vg and nicotine.
I know theres alot of places but when i mix my first batch i just dont want to have any issues with odd flavors coming through from vg pg or nic.
I've found a couple peanut butter recipes im gonna try and a couple strawberry.
If anyone has an awesome recipe for one of these please share and I'll give it a go as well

Nicselect is good stuff. I've tried 3 brands mfs, nudenic, and nicselect. Mfs being the worst and couldn't tell much of a difference between the other two. Also nicselect is super cheap $40 a 100mg liter at ecigexpress. And vg isn't really special its all the same.

Thats my main concern....the odd taste...since this is my first diy attempt im following a couple of Hic's recipes from the recipe page....

Wise choice on HIC's recipes! IMO, the Guru of FA flavors, and mixology.

Just something to consider:
80% VG only leaves you with 20% for flavors and NIC(if using PG base).
Rare, but a few recipes are using 20%+ total flavoring.
But much will also depend on if you can taste things OK at lower amounts.

I usually get PG base for the NIC as it's thinner and easier to work with. I have no issues so far making most recipes at 70-80% VG or even down to 50/50 but like @Heabob says "a few recipes" call for a bit more 'room' . In those cases I just end up with like 65/75% VG to adjust .. not too much of a difference.

i use ecigexpress 100mg nic in both vg and pg base, have had no issues with either... most of my mixes are 80-85vg unless they call for more % in flavors in which case ill just max vg it and use everything vg after the flavorings... if its clouds thats the issue i see no real difference in my clouds when using 70-80-90-95 vg in my mixes they can all plume about the same... i try to use less pg since it tends to give me mud butt when i use too much or even when vaping store bought juices with 30 or more pg... nothing serious but after a while i gotta dookie lol.
i buy vg, pg and flavors from both ecigexpress and bullcityvapor, but bcv doesnt sell nic so i get that from ecx only as previously mentioned.

Sure do, and it works very well, if there is SOME nic in the mix; by itself without nic, not so much. I'm down to 4mg now, and last week I was having some issues with getting ejuice in my mouth with almost every hit, and yeah, Flash definitely makes it tingly.

It's hard for me to tell others how much to try, because I add it in an unusual way -- I make a premix of Flash, nic, and sweetener, in PG, and then add that. My current pre-mix is this:

Nicotine 8mg

Flash 28%
Sweetener 2%

Then, in recipes, I add it at the level of 5%-10%; usually start off with a new recipe at 5%, but if it seems too soft, I'll go up a bit, but I don't use more than 10% in any mix -- though that might change, when I make it down to 3mg, or, I might increase the amount of the Flash I put in the pre-mix. I'll probably do that, so I can decrease the nic level; make it 30% flash and only 6mg for the pre-mix.

I know it seems like a complicated way to do it, but I had a reason why I started doing it that way -- I was using WTA at the time, which is all-VG, and I needed the amount of total PG in the recipe to be higher. I didn't want the high level of PG to kill the sweetness, so I also put sweetener in the premix. It's actually a good way to do it, so that you don't accidentally get carried away adding Flash and make it so tingly that you can't vape it, or adversely affect the flavor. If you want a higher level of VG, and don't want your flavors to increase the PG too much, you could do the same type of pre-mix, but in VG instead.

Is that the TH nic from VapersTek? I thought they were permanently out of stock, haven't seen it on their site in a WHILE. But to be honest, I didn't find a bit of diff in theirs, from WizLabs' or ECX's -- I bought the VapersTek TH nic because it was the cheapest I could find.

EDIT: I got a tiny bit more TH from the VT I have. The VT however did not numb the inside of my mouth (for around 10 mins. after vaping) @18mg mix. Both are otherwise clean....to me.

That's true! I remember reading a story on how VT started selling TH, I just can't be sure regarding the particulars.

I'm not a big TH fan at all. But when the very clean VT TH was $25 a liter, I thought I could always reduce the TH by blending it with other nics....and have.

I was loving the hell out of it when it was $25/liter. But now it seems to have disappeared. Too bad, that was by far the best price going, for nicotine. Glad I'm pretty well stocked up; got about 2.5 liters, probably will add another half liter before aug 8.

Basically, it means pray that either Sen Johnson/Congress or the law courts can force the FDA into something approaching sanity; or even, that perhaps some can be called out and brought to justice for corruption. Because the deeming regs, as they stand right now, are going to do away with probably 99% of the vaping market. I don't know what the FDA has in mind for sales of high-strength nicotine, but it's probably nothing good. If the bill in Congress can be passed which sets the predicate date to Aug 8 2016 instead of Feb 2007, it will help, but won't completely eliminate the problem, since new products or updated/improved products will still play hell getting to market.

and probably a lot of others that don't immediately leap to mind. There's a big vaping community on Twitter, protesting all of it.
