I have to say I was excited about receiving the Wismec Luxotic 250w. I have the OG Noisy Cricket and the Noisy Cricket 2. So I really wanted to see the 250w version. I was not disappointed. Yes, it is not perfect. But it is pretty darn close.
I got a green resin version with the guillotine on top and nice green resin drip tip. Now the RDA was okay. It can be used for a squonker with it's bf pin - nice bonus. It is a two post and easy to build. It has a nice beauty ring to match the mod. Overall not bad. I built a .2 ohm coil so I could use in single coil mode as either series or parallel. There flavour was okay. The build quality is decent. But it is not a Goon or a Twisted 24. I think it will be my squonk RDA for sure.
Now the mod … I like it a lot. The resin panels have some play. But it is not a deal breaker. I took the Guillotine off and put a single Goon on top and the drip tip fit perfectly from the Guillotine. Now this is a PWM like the Noisy Cricket 2. With a .19 build I got a nice vape using either parallel or series. Excellent.
The mod has the obligatory protections - temperature, low voltage, short circuit … you get it. It is a five click on/off. On the top of there mod is a toggle switch to change from series to parallel. Much better than the Noisy /Cricket 2. The bottom plate removes to put the batteries in and is clearly marked for battery orientation. I’m using 20700 but you have adapters for 18650.
The mod and RDA look a lot more expensive than 70 US. It has a high end feel to it. I was a big fan of the Noisy Cricket 2. This is going to enter my rotation for sure.

So would I recommend this device? Absolutely. If you like the Noisy Cricket 2 you will love this. Maybe the resin is not for everyone (I like it). The mod is not tiny - well it is dual 20700 so … the upside is I got 6 hours of vaping with those dual 20700s. Overall Wismec did a really nice job with this. As soon as you get the kit you install their coils and get going.
