First "successful" attempt at wrapping clapton wire

I finally did it, after a few tries and a few feet of trash wire. I have made clapton wire. Yes, it probably looks horrible, and yes, the wires I used for it are probably wrong. But I did it. Only wrapped enough good wire for one coil, and ended up stripping my post getting it in. So this atty is a single coil now. Thought I would share my "success." Victory is mine. Forgot to mention it's 26g core / 28g wrap

Dude, there's nothing like getting that first one done successfully - congrats! Like @Dutch0hms said, try a smaller gauge outer wire next time. Maybe 34 or 36 gauge. The 26/28 you wrapped is actually harder to do than a 26/36.

Yeah, I really need to place an order for smaller wire, I just have the two gauges so I thought I would give it a try. And thank you @CrazyChef for telling me that I took the difficult route first. At least I know things will only get easier from here on out.
