First Time Was a PIA

Got up this morning and decided to put an RDA in one of my Maganus Cloud Blasters. This was my first time messing with a rebuildable. All did not go so well. Managed to break 3 coils and then had to rewick a couple of times. Good thing I bought some extra cotton and pre-wounds. Finally managed to get both coils firing from center out and firing evenly. Then had to waste some wicking tryin to get a workable amount that allowed airflow without burning the crap out of my throat. Currently have G150 set at 38 watts with airflow shut down half way. Getting a little popping and spitting every now and then. Nothing making it to my mouth. I set the coils a little lower than the posts to try and keep the spitting to a minimum. It is doable, but going to have to work on this a bit to get it right. Not all that pleasurable at this point, but workable for a first attempt. Will have to do alot more reading to figure out what I'm doing wrong.

More you do it the easier and better it gets, practice, it's all about practice.

Watch a number of YouTubes on coil making and wicking. Try out the different styles and methods and you'll come up with your own method that works for you.

You want the coils inline with the airflow holes and a clear path under them so don't pack a ton of cotton underneath them.

Excessive popping can usually be reduced with more power. Can also be that your wick is too saturated... or both. You are boiling juice, not vaporizing it.

You can space your coils a litle bit when starting out rebuilding. There a little less finicky and not as difficult to get glowing even. Than just experiment with your wicking. too little leads to leaking/flooding/spitting and too much you'll get dry hits and burnt cotton. You need that happy medium.
