First twisted coil build

This is my first attempt at building twisted coils. This is with 24 gauge and it ohms out to .18. It's nice and warm - the way I like it. As this is my first attempt with this type of build, I'd like to get some feedback from the pros. Looking through some photos on the forum, I'm not so sure I twisted it enough, but I was afraid of breaking the wire. Anyways - what are your thoughts?

Yeah could twist it a bit more, but if it vapes good it is good

I usually only use twisted just because I think its beautiful when heated. Grab your 2 wires of kanthal put them in the chuck of a hand drill then pull them tight, grab the end with a pair of pliers and keep the drill going until the new braided wire will break either at the chuck or the pliers, don't worry about it breaking in the middle. I've never seen it happen and i have made copious amounts of twisted wire

Thanks for the suggestion and input. I had some wire left over from the first try so I stuck it back in the drill and cranked it till it broke. Here's round two!
