Not sure if any one else has had this issue, but the other day I was vaping with my Gizmo V2 (Pictured Below) and I swear all of the sudden the magnets just quit repelling eachother, I did have an odd I will say short, because it was firing just fine, then it just heated up.. So I think that killed the magnets.
Well damn, what to do, only source of the magnets appeared to be Gizmod in the UK, crap, but no, I looked and did little research and came up with a solution, a local solution. Home Depot my friends, good old Home Depot. I found their "Super Magnets" (photo Below) and they had a drilled 3.2mmx1.5mm that worked just great in the push button firing cap and a 12mmx3mm for the battery.
The drilled was easy, just removed the old one in the switch and replaced with new. But the 12mm are a bit bigger than the insulator ring that comes with the mod, my first solution, well the magnet fith right on the bottom of the battery, perfectly, but I was afraid it might move and short out (the insulator ring stops this. So my first solution, 21mmx15mmx3mm o-ring set into the battery chamber.
Bam all working again....
Just thought I would pass this on if any one has had a similar issue..
Oh and second fix, I enlarged the hole in the factory insulator ring, set the magnet into it and now little easier to change the battery.
