Flagship mod issues

So, I've been using my Kanger subox mini kit for a while, and I absolutely love it; it's beatiful, clean, compact, but definitely powerful. However, I'm in the military and I spend a lot of time in the field, so I wanted to get something more durable that I didn't mind getting a few scratches and dings on. So I ordered a Flagship mechanical mod, and so far I love it. Definitely a quality piece of equipment from what I can tell. The only problem is, I'm getting some burnt hits out of it when I put my Kanger subtank on it. I'm using the RBA section and I have a 0.3 ohm build in it using 26 gauge wire. Any help would be awesome!

Your firing it at almost 60 watts. My guess is that the juice isnt wicking fast enough to keep up with that power.

I would suggest trying a little less cotton or building higher if that doesn't work.

It depends on the tank my friend. I would try messing with wick to see if you can get it wick a little better with out it flooding the deck

Okay. Excuse my ignorance, this is my first mech mod lol. I switched out the cotton and it seems to be working better now. It's safe to fire a 0.3 ohm coil on a mech, right? I've seen people with crazy builds below that on mech mods, so I assume it's okay. Thanks for the tip!

No problem man. It all depends on your batteries and what their amp rating is. At .3 your pushing 17amps. What batteries are you using?
