Flavor Bottles disintegrating on me

I have 3 (so far) 10ml. plastic bottles with different Flavor Art flavors in them with the necks melted down.
These are the ones from a popular supplier that have a grey and blue band scheme on them.
None of my others from at least 6 other brands and suppliers have had this problem.
They are about a year old and stay in a dark 78-80dg. cupboard.
anyone else aware of this problem ?

I know where you got those. Yes, 2 different bottles of FA Custard did that.

ETA they don't use those bottles anymore, but still have old stock.

I'm sure now I'll be replacing more..I'm with a different supplier also, I like those original F.A. bottles..

Luckily I've never run into that - I do have issues with the necks snapping on my OG FA bottles with the orange lids (that I believe have already been phased out).

What do the original fa bottles look like? I have three different kinds. The 4 Oz bottles I assume are not original bottles.

The originals keep changing - they're 10 ml only - used to look like normal bottles with FA labeling, then they went to tall skinny bottles with orange caps, then the same thing with dark blue caps, now I hear it's a lighter blue flip-top (as opposed to screw-on) cap, but I don't have those yet. The 4 oz vary from shop to shop and aren't original, but they're becoming my go-to for most of my tried-and-true flavors.

I have a lot of the orange bottles and find no problems with melting. I did find that a few of them leaked in transit.\\

They are stored in a cold storage area (separate room) in the basement.

At first I thought it was melting - after a handful broke (including some non-suspect flavors) I'm beginning to think I was just using a little too much mustard in pushing down to defeat the child-proofing to get the caps off.

I think it was just a bad batch of bottles but cant say for sure. they worked fine for a while then just one by one they started getting stuck to the point Id rip the whole top off trying to open it.lol.

Some of those caps that seem like push and turn, open a bit easier when you squeeze the cap a bit, then turn. I hate all bottles except the Mama J's ones. Yes, I know I sound like I'm pimping, but they know what kinda bottles DIYers like dammit.
