...this may seem a peculiar question, but I recently purchased a bottle of Flavor West "Cinnamon" from my local supply shop, and I can't seem to find a flavor description anywhere when I search for it on Google! All the results that come up are for "Cinnamon Roll", so I'm curious: is "Cinnamon" different than "Cinnamon Roll", or are they one in the same? I just want to get an understanding of the flavor profile before I add it to a recipe.

If anyone can answer this for me, I'd be very very grateful - I've been scratching my head over this one for days and days now. o_O

Thanks in advance!

As seen from the lack of response, there's not a whole lot of FW discussion going on here...and I can't say I'm familiar with that one myself. Maybe try making a small sample of it standalone to see what it does before adding to a recipe?

Good idea, OBDave - that's just what I was thinking I ought to do - have yet to do it though. ;)

This is from the FW website, not overly elaborated on, but a short review.....

Thanks, Teresa! By the sounds of it, it's just a light, authentic cinnamon type of flavor - probably good for pastry vapes and such, more so than hot cinnamon candy-types. I'll know for sure when I *finally* get of my duff and mix up a sample batch. :D

I've only used Cinnamon Roll, but the Cinnamon is a bit different I believe.
I suspect it's just Cinnamon without the "Roll".
More for bakery stuff and not the "red hots" type.

Yes, like others have said it's a bakery cinnamon. I like it because it is light and not overpowering, I don't see too many others who use it much, but I like it...reminds me sort of cinnamon sugar verses powdered cinnamon solo.

Yes, you're both right! I finally got around to giving it a try, and as you said, Baseballmom, it's a nice, warm, slightly sweet cinnamon flavor. An excellent addition to cookie vapes to transform them into cinnamon sugar cookies, and I bet it would go nicely with a "frothy" cappuccino to replicate the cinnamon dusting on top - something I'll have to try one of these days.

Thanks for all the input, everyone! :thanks:
