White Peach is one of their strongest offerings and I've only used 1-2%. FA Peach peaks at 4% IMO before it starts tasting kinda soapy to me. Thats where bringing more peach or other flavors like pear helps dial in the type of peach you want.

Hey guys, I'm new to the mixing stuff and I'm looking for some recipes. I have 200ml from flavour art's traditional base (50/50) at my desired nic level and got the following flavors from FA aswell:

Chocolate
Standard vanilla
Cookie
Espresso coffee
Caramel
Nut mix

Can anybody suggest me any recipes besides the vanilla cookies I found here on the forum with my flavors? Thanks, I'll keep lurking around here for more

What would percentages would you use to combine peach and white peach? To me, peach is a very crisp, but mellow flavor that can be hard to pick out. Regular peach is a bit stronger, and has more of that classic peach taste. Both are pretty bland to me standalone under 5%.

Back when I first started and was trying to get a specific peach flavor, I tried White Peach @ 2% and Peach @ 3% and TPA Juicy Peach @ 2%.The white peach was really strong in the mix and it tasted like a not quite ripe white nectarine. TPA Juicy Peach was almost there but I was still playing around with it. I found what I was looking for with JF Honey Peach @2% and I do that with .5% koolada for an ADV.

As far as the FA Peaches go, I'll keep working with them.. but with some of the complimentary flavors like apricots, blueberries, bourbon, cloves, figs, ginger, honey, lemon, vanilla, walnuts, etc.

I've wondered what FA's nic is like - is it good?

If you have any (other brands are fine) cream flavors, you could add 1% or less Espresso for a creamy coffee. Or you could add 1% Chocolate and 1% Espresso for a stronger mocha. To either of those, you could add 1% or less Caramel, and/or 0.5% Nut mix for a creamy caramel-nut coffee/mocha.

Got cream?

Unfortunately I don't have any cream flavors but I already thought of getting one.

I'm working on a N'Awlins Praline. Needs the brown sugar which should arrive tomorrow.

This weekend I'm going to sift through my flavors and see what I haven't used. I'll prolly start a thread asking for suggestions of what to do with them. Maybe you all can do the same.

I hate winter.

Happy Thursday!

Currently vaping one of my more adventurous attempts (probably not very adventurous by this threads standards though):

(Approximate percentages based on drops in 15ml total liquid)
3% FA Apple Pie (15 drops in 15ml)
0.6% FA Catalan Cream (3 drops in 15ml)
0.4% FA White Peach (2 drops in 15ml)
0.4% FA Cookie (2 drops in 15ml)

Really enjoying this one.

Another simple one I am also quite fond of:

3% FA Apple Pie (5 drops in 5ml)
1.2-1.8% FA Melon Cantaloupe (2-3 drops in 5ml)

Nice! I finally ordered some White Peach, so will put this on my list to try. I may have to up the percentages, though, because I seriously think my taste buds are broken. I mixed some of caddisfly's Banana Apple Nut Bread, let it steep a few days, and even at 8.5% flavoring I couldn't taste anything but maybe a tiny hint of apple. So frustrating to find a great recipe and not be able to taste it :( On a more positive note, I can always taste HIC's Tiramisu Cheesecake. Yum!!

White peach, at least to me, smells great but anything over 1% tastes way too strong and in some indescribable way, offensive. I had almost given up on it until the before mentioned mix where I actually find it quite pleasant.

One thing that is quite evident from this thread is that sense of taste does vary, sometimes a lot. Initially I couldn't taste much of anything at lower percentages (this was after months of vaping) but after a while of mixing and vaping only low percentages I started tasting more. I still have a hard time identifying notes and nuances so generally just go by if it tastes good as a whole or not. Hopefully you find the sweet spot for your taste buds soon!

Thank you! I know not everyone is a super taster, but sometimes I think my taste buds took a permanent vacation. I started out mostly with TFA flavors and could taste most of those, but not so much with FA. Ah well, just gives me more reason to try out more recipes :)

Maybe I'm overly analytical,
but if you don't taste apple + banana bread
but you do taste timamisu + cheesecake

could it be that you just need mixes with contrasting flavors?
If so, adding a little Forest Mix, Bilberry, or Blackcurrant to apple and/or banana bread might allow you to taste all the flavors involved.

It's might be worth experimenting.

How long does Pure Vapes take to ship? First order placed with them 3 days ago, account still shows Processing. Have received no shipping email. Is this normal?

It's been a busy couple of weeks at work (I retired a year ago, but my boss refuses to accept that fact), so i haven't had anytime for experimenting. I have bee replenishing my stocks of ADV's though. Most of these I found on these pages. Thanks guys. I'll get back to it after the first of February.

Hmmm . . . that's something I hadn't considered and is definitely worth exploring. I'm going to review the recipes I couldn't taste and, if memory serves me correctly, I bet I don't find many contrasting flavors. That's really helpful, so thanks very much, HIC!

Thanks Dana and Amanda. I wondered if maybe it had shipped but the site didn't indicate that. No big deal as its not needed stuff but I haven't had a vendor not ship after three days so I was just curious. Thanks again.

Their site has never indicated anything for me. Like others, it's either in my mail box or at the local drop off (vape shop).

I have invited a few more people to this thread - one is very conscientious about the *bad* stuff so I hope this thread and HIC can alleviate his worries.:)

Got my 35 flavors from Wizard. Now have 198.
Can anybody help me identify this flavor:

Tobacco Type Flavor Concentrate by TFA
tfa-tobacco-type-200x200.jpg

I need to enter it into the e-Liquid database.

Thanks,
Dana

Thank you Smoky,
The e-Liguid database is not a calculater, it's a database? to store all your flavors and provides recipes based on the flavors you have! Really nice I think. I don't use calculators either. You may want to check it out:

dropped, meaning the web site owner can download that database and has access to everything on site.

he/she can take or add anything to the site this way, it is part of coding.. depending on format and easy for a coder to read.

Okay, I get it. I'm just using it to keep track of my flavors and taking advantage of the recipes since I don't have many of my own. I also have all my flavors and recommended %'s on my computer.

Thanks,
Dana

Instead of just copying recipes, reading the notes on the recipes I've found here has shortened my journey as a DIYer.
As posted previously I'm still at the stage where I'm testing individual flavors. I tested Papaya and Pomengranite yesterday. (Loved the Pomengranite) Vaped 2 mL of each and added the last mL of each together. Not bad at all but needed something more. I added Meringue and a hint of Banana. Tasted great. Didn't know what made me think of Meringue. Rechecked HIC's notes and gained an even greater respect for what is shared here. You won't get that by just copying someone else's hard work, if hard work went into it at all.

i had a net in my vial.. so when i looked at it, because i did not note that.. yeps..
but still.. it is a good flavor.. cant find anything in FA that will match it close..
I find it to be very perfumey, but I'm sure there are many who enjoy it.

I hate winter.

I still can't grasp the fact that summer has passed! My body is confused, I think, being new to a warm-all-year-round climate.

As you know, I recently mixed up your Burnt Sugar Custard, Susan, and liked it lots.
I decided to mess around with some of it and made a combination that started with your recipe and was inpired by Hic's Ginger Creme Brulee and Mixman's notes in Susan's recipe BSC thread:
ended up like this:

TFA B. Sugar 3%
FA Custard 2%
FA Caramel 2%
FA Vienna Cream 1%
FA Butterscotch 1%
TFA Toasted Marshmallow 1%

This is total 10% total flavoring, 4% of which is TFA, which I think leaves room for another small addition like raspberry or lemon... almond or marzipan. (Haven't tried that yet--have been trying for a toasty type of flavor. I vaped it side by side with the BSC and despite having 3 more ingredients, it's not really very different from the original--and may be a little too sweet for me. So, I won't go so far as to recommend it, but there it is! A vapable variation :)

Great! With both the brown sugar and the marshmallow, that would be sweet. Try cutting back on the sugar maybe to 1-2%. That way you could retain any toasted flavor the marshmallow provides. Though I think the brown sugar and caramel both provide that burnt or toasted taste.

Hello everyone, hope this is the right place to pose this question...I've just recently switched to FA flavors and am building up my collection so I'm going all small samples right now...purevapes has all the flavors I want except for chocolate (in 3ml size) - does anyone know if they just don't sell it in a 3ml size or are they just out of stock?
I'll be patient if it's a stock issue but I just don't want to put off an order for something that won't be there no matter how long I wait.
Thanks in advance for any help.

You could order 5ml samples from eliquidmart for $1.69. They'll have chocolate, and any other FA flavors you want.

I'm sorry you couldn't taste my Banana Apple Nut Bread. I have 2 suggestions:

This is the version right before my final one;

Banana 4%
Cookie 3%
TFA Toasted Almond 5%
Fuji Apple 2%
Fresh Cream 1%

I found this to be good but a bit overwhelming at 15%, but tastes differ.

Or you might add 1% Anise to what you have left of your current mix. I took half of what I had (6mls) and did this. It is quite good. I didn't like Anise before I started vaping. Go figure.

Sorry I didn't see your post sooner. Things have been crazy busy at work. I'm a printer and my job was supposed to be obsolete by now. It didn't happen. I may beat it there.
