So I thought I would try to make something simple with apple pie, as usual hic did it first and better than I ever could but I thought I'd try
Apple pie 4%
Vanilla gelato 3%

Good so far, the fruity notes in the gelato seem to boost the mild apple in the pie whilst also remaining a layer to themselves.
4 days after mixing this is really quite yummy. Will continue to sample but no changes needed as yet

Hey guys ,what are you all mixing your bavarian cream, graham crust and cheesecake at.I only got small testers and don't want to waste any, thanx
I found a use for those flavors, Custard - The Quickening on ELR. I love it. I subbed the CC Devon Cream with JF Bavarian Cream. Have since tried it with the CC Devon Cream, while good I think I prefer my sub.

A friend of mine loves fa bavarian cream but I just can't taste it properly, I smelled it once from the bottle so I know it could be good but I struggle with this...gonna try putting .5 Vienna underneath to try and trick my taste buddies as I don' wanna use more bavarian I'm on 5% already

I always thought that Bavarian Cream was to be used only very sparingly underneath other cream and cream-like flavorings, when the idea is to make each fruit more individually identifiable if multiple fruits are placed against a creamy background, i.e. to prevent each different fruit from disappearing into something that tastes more like just a single fruity note on top of a creaminess note.

I think it depends. I use it in different situations and different brands for different applications. I think in certain situations it is actually quite good as a base note rather than an accent.

That's what I've been trying to use Fa bavarian for, with hazelnut and oba oba but the bavarian is elusive, still steeping so will sample again in a few days, next mix maybe a mid level cream to lowlight (highlight) the bass note I wanted bavarian to be.
Advice from better mixers appreciated:idea:

Here is the final version of that orange gelato I posted
upload_2019-5-23_13-16-38.png

I got rid of the graham crust because it just didn't work. I wanted it to kind of be like a graham infused ice cream but it was at odds with the citrus. So goodbye. I bumped up the Lemon Sicily to 1% as well as the blood orange because it needed it. The tangerine stays the same and boost the juiciness of the citrus note. I added in 1/2% vienna cream to give a bit more body and fill out the gelato. I find using 0.5% vienna with FA vaniglia gelato drives it to be more of a gelato than an ice cream, it gives it that dense mouthfeel. Marshmallow helps that as well and also adds a bit of sweetness to the recipe. This is a nice summertime vape.

Hiya, looking to mix ASAP, is the fa tangerine supposed to be mandarin or did I guess wrong?

Can you please describe the difference between FW Blood Orange vs FA BO also TFA/CAP Vanilla bean Ice Cream vs FA Vanilla Ice Cream? Thanks

I can't say on the FW Blood orange as I've never had it. The difference between TPA VBIC and FA Vanilla ice cream is the buttery note for sure. FA Vaniglia Gelato is not as buttery, creamy, or deeply rich as the TPA version. It is much more of a gelato than an ice cream. I'd say in flavor it is closer to FLV Vanilla Pudding than it is to the TFA Ice cream. You can substitute any ice cream you'd like for the recipe above to work. It will taste a bit different, but still really good.

I'll be sampling tomorrow anyway but how long til it's ready in your opinion?
Ooh that smells great fresh!:bliss:
I'd give it anywhere from 3 days to a week. The Vienna really gives it that body after like 3 or 4 days (that's about how long I've had this mixed for), but after a week I feel like the Vienna really shines with everything else the way I'm looking for it to. That is really the only thing in there that needs that long of a steep.

This is rapidly building into a fantastic vape, love the orangey vanilla ending and how that citrus combo isn't too zesty for me, I don't know. Gonna have to mix a fifty ml and see if it turns into an adv, I have high hopes for this one, I think it's got legs

How are you liking it? I am loving it. I made up a 100ml of it after my initial test.

Another one I came up with for the summer time

KEY LIME PIE

FA Graham Crust - 2%
FA Cookie - 1%
FA Vaniglia Gelato - 3%
FA Lime Tahiti Cold Pressed - 2.5%
FA Lemon Sicily - 0.25%
FA Meringue - 1.5%

I'm thinking of doing an alternate version with WF Flapper Pie (4%) rather than the graham crust and the cookie, but for now this is really good.

EDIT: Now that I think a bit more about it too, I might try and do this instead for the pie custard

FA Custard (not premium) - 2%
FA Vaniglia Gelato - 1%

After 10 days this is an orangey dream, you've done amazing work, the juicy, zesty, orange comes back after the ice cream and makes my mouth water every vape.
We need someone else to mix and confirm this but this is amazing for me,
Finished my sample and also mixed 100ml,
Thank you for the all or mostly FA mixes I for one appreciate it.

Very glad to hear it. Nothing more satisfying than creating something that someone else loves just as much as me. I will be using that blood orange/tangerine/ lemon Sicily combo again, it works really well

Not yet i had one drink too many and didnt trust myself to use the right bottle. Gona mix the custard, vanillla gelato version I think, been mixing a few more recipes from other mixers so will take a few days to taste everything properly. Will report back.
I need a limey vape in my life and that touch of custard is gona play nicely with the citrus and gelato

Even after one day and with a two year old bottle of lime this smells great and tastes good of the knuckle, gonna try and wait a few more days but not sure I can.

Ps just mixed another 100ml of fried ice cream, I love that stuff and can't recommend it enough,

So if you lost your mix it's possible I have the only 30ml of this in existence, it now smells so good I'm gona have to throw it in something to try today.
Will report back later if possible
glad to hear it. you may have the only 30ml in existence because I haven't mixed up a second one yet. I like to work on new stuff more often than not, but I've got a couple in my rotation that I mix frequently. Next up I think I'm going for an all FA fruit mix for that summer craving I've been having.

@ilikeitfruity @88ArDeN88 I’m confused, so you replaced the FA Graham Crust 2% & FA Cookie 1% with FA Custard 2% and FA Vanglia Gelato @ 2%? What about the FA Vanglia Gelato 3% in the original Key Lime Pie recipe o_O thanks!

I mixed,
Graham crust 2%
Cookie 1%
Custard (crema pasticcera) 2%
Vanilla gelato 1%
Lime cold pressed 2.5%
Lemon sicily .25%
Meringue 1.5%
All flavour art, I hope this is what was intended

It took me 3 builds to get this to taste as it smelled out of the bottle, as a low power restricted lung vape this rocks, in my usual mtl setups the graham crust was just too upfront for me....and ps your orange ice cream is amazing in any setup, got that in a sub ohm tank at 60 watts and it's orange cloudy heaven

That is interesting. I vape restricted lung sometimes even DL, hardly ever mtl. Maybe take the graham crust down to 1% and cookie down to 0.5%.

KEY LIME PIE

FA Graham Crust - 2%
FA Cookie - 1%
FA Vaniglia Gelato - 3%
FA Lime Tahiti Cold Pressed - 2.5%
FA Lemon Sicily - 0.25%
FA Meringue - 1.5%

this was the intended recipe, the other portion at the end was just a "hey, I might try it like this if I don't think the other way is fully what I'm looking for"

So I've been chasing a flavour profile from when I was a youngun, I used to have an incredibly sweet tooth and given the chance would mix ribena and lemonade or coke...so after about 6months of playing with the obvious flavours and not quire hitting it I decided to change tack (mainly through frustration) and hit it 1st time. So simple but it does special things for me and just makes me smile.
Fa pazzo king 4%
Fa aurora 2%

Fine as shake n vape but smooths out after a week, tested mtl and restricted dl, yummy

Good morning, my lovely wife has just shown me a Facebook post from flavour art, new flavours, looks like two mangoes, two blueberries and one called rhapsody, thinking about it they mIght be new blends from John at fauk. Anyone have more info?
I might be ordering them thru FA Italy. At least one or two. Interested in getting in on the order? It will take 3 weeks or so to get it. FA Italy has everything.....including the baddies(butter, corn, custard premium, etc...)
