Flawless tugboat mod

Wanted one as well- I know somebody who has one and he had threading probs. The threads seemed soft and wouldn't fit several atties - one actually got stuck.

This may be a prob with HIS particular mod, but I have seen reviews where they do not like the threading. I still want one and hope others chime in with good info...

I don't own one myself, but a friend has one. Confirming that the threads are suspect. I'm a big Tugboat fan (RDA), but was a bit disappointed with the mod when I was handling it. For a hundred bucks, you'd think it would be built better than it is. I have an Infected mod, which is another $99 device, and it's very high quality.

I didn't use it, but after my first impressions, I won't be buying one based on the build quality alone.

I ordered an IPV mini 30 watt with a kanger subtank nano an CRFT strawberry blonde, jus waiting on the IPV an tank now can't wait lol

I have the mini and use it to sneak in a tug or two at work (no tobacco anything at my workplace).... Super convenient and I love it for what it is designed to do. Remove the plastic display cover immediately- trust me.

I just ordered the new copper tugboat mod with the cerakote. I'll report back. I should have it by the end of the week along with te matching white cerakoted tugboat addy and the white anarchist competition cap. Plan on throwing dual 22 gauge 5 wraps in it and seeing how it performs.

It it pure copper? Watch the threading- my brother has the regular alum mod and his threading was suspect and jammed up the first day he had it...
