I flew on a private charter from South Florida to New York last week to avoid the hurricane and am flying home commercial tomorrow. I brought 3 mods, juice in 120ml bottles, a 6 bay charger, and 12 or so 18650 batteries. How should I proceed?

I flew all over the place last summer

TSA wanted batteries removed from mods in separate cases

Juices have to be in the same kind of plastic bag like other liquids (shampoo, mouthwash, etc) in clear bottles, no more than 100 ml in the bottles. You can put juice in regular checked baggage with no restrictions. Now last December, when flying from Seattle to Anchorage, TSA cut open a brand-new box with a bottle of juice in it. Pissed me off but they did it

If you can get precheck - much easier for carryon

Batteries cannot be in checked baggage period, as per regulations

Just carry on your carry on, did not put in check in. Plain and simple. I traveled with 6 mods, 10 batteries, a 4 battery charger and like 10 gorillas of juice in my back pack. No hassle, Just admiration. I flew NY to Florida

I fly pretty regularly and never had any trouble. I've flown with mechs in my back pack, but with batteries out in a case, a couple of bottles in a plastic bag and that's it.

With that being said I would check all the gear your not going to use and lit all your batteries in cases to avoid any hassle

Keep all your batteries in either plastic boxes or silicone sleeves, and place them in your carry on bag. Juice in small amounts in a plastic bag are also fine for carry on. If you have a lot of juice (which it doesn't sound like) you can also wrap and place in double Ziploc bags in your checked luggage (make sure it's all sealed so your clothes don't end up smelling like your juice).
