Was going to buy my wife an istick 30 watt based on reviews I watched and she likes it. Figured I would ask the family here their take on it.

The Isticks have a huge following.

Me, I really like my Sigelei 30 watt mini.

I prefer mods that you can replace the battery in when the time comes rather than throwing the entire mod away.

She does not use RBAs but she enjoys my sub tanks. And I also enjoy my Sigelei 30 watt mini over my dovpo dt-50. She wants it due to its small size and it would be her first mod so it may be a good starting point for her.

Go for the 50 watt. Still small, and the battery lasts all day. My 30 watt would only last a few hours with a subtank on it.

Get her a pink Istick 50 watt. Battery life is so much better than the smaller one - I use a subtank mini on mine, and it now has the lilac o rings which almost match (not seen in the pic):

Sigelei has a 50w out now. My girlfriend loves it. It's smaller than my 100+ and fit in her hand perfect. Runs off of one 18650. So that's always an option too

I think the iStick is a great choice. My wife uses the iStick 20 with a couple of Orchid v3s and and Erlkonigin Mini. She has had them for about 6 months and still raves about them almost daily!
I would recommend getting two so she can have one as a reserve.

sig mini 30 is great! fits in my pocket w/ an atlantis on it. sig 50 vr2 will (better) be in my mailbox today!! absolutely agree with the removable battery option. thats the only thing keeping me away from isticks. they seem nice though...

I don't have an iStick, but they get great reviews. I would definitely get the 50 watt. You might find she wants more power when she gets used to it, or if her atty choices change. Plus, more battery life, and she won't be pushing the device as hard.

For instance, I got my iPV3 for the reason of dual batteries, I don't need the full power, or even two thirds of it, but I have found myself vaping around 55 watts as time has passed. If I had bought a 50 watt box, I'd be desiring more power already. The thought of 55 watts when I got it was something I never thought I'd use. That changed quickly. Since the cost isn't that different, I say 50 watt.

And if batteries and a charger aren't an issue, look at the Sigelei 50 watt plus, or the iPV Mini 2. I prefer to have a user replaceable battery, but I understand not everyone feels that way. Both of those can be had for $50 or so.
