Sounds like beauty rings to me. The second link shows pictures. The first links to various sites selling them.

These do not screw into the 510 connector themselves usually. They merely rest between the RDA and the space between the 510 connection. They are simply for aesthetics.

Don't really use any myself. Rarely see any gap between an RDA and mod. If I do it's not really anything I find detracting aesthetically, or otherwise.

Ah, I get it now. Not in the 510, around the 510. Tapered to fit 28mm, 30mm, etc.

It's actually an extremly great idea, imo. 30, 28, 25

I found the rings in the most unlikely place - the original BOX that it came in.
