Freakshow rda regulated mod help

Hi i have a 60 watt kangertech nano temp control box mod i wanted to get a freakshow rda for it and build it at .5 ohms but i was told that it wont work does anyone know if this is true or can i do it im not sure if the guy at the store wasnt just trying to sell me a mech mod too thanks for any help you might have.

.5 ohms will work fine. 60 watts your box has at that resistance is 5.5 volts. If you had a mech mod (single battery) it would basically be doing 35 watts. which is probably where you'll want to set your wattage at.
