Future Mod Builders....

With the glut on the market of new mods,I wonder how long they will last?.....In as much as there will be a few left around for years,but when that FDA thing gets REAL BAD and they ban all new devices,and Your final puff comes to an end when Your last device fails, You are going to be left with building Your own if You can,from the remains of Your old vape mods....If You have any....Kinda like when Vaping was starting out....Mod builders unite!....Z

Well, the new stuff is unproven for the long term, so that's an unknown, but my ProVari that I bought in Jan 2011 is still going strong. Speculation is exactly that, speculation, until proven otherwise. Only time can really prove how long the new items will hold up.

Yes RATRACER the devices are rushed to market and are bound to fail. I was looking for People that build not buy,not much on V/U on building them....Z

Ok then You have found someone who builds not buys. How can I help you?

As for not much on VU on building I think you will find that on pretty much any forum There just are not as many vapers out there interested in making there own mod. Been that way for years. But you can still find a lot of info from the heyday's of Modding.

Nothing is being rushed to market. America isn't the only vapers. China itself has 100x the vaping population we do. If anything the mods are getting better and better.

As for American mod makers..

They will simply design the mod and have it made in China like they are doing now. Believe it or not many (not all) of the "American" mod makers, before the FDA regs were in effect, had their mods made in China completely or just assembled here. The "American" mods in China were just polished more and had a second inspection.

That's why clones happened so fast - sometimes the clone would hit the market before the "authentic" version. When people started figuring it out - that's what destroyed the $250.00 metal tube market. It was one of the biggest scams going and many people fell for it.

It also doesn't stop mod makers in other countries from shipping their crafted goods here. The FDA can't regulate ecig mail because it's so vast. Cigarettes are one thing because they look like cigarettes - they can't regulate and stop every metal box / tube that goes through the mail.

Even when vaping doom's day hits 2 years from - they still can't stop China shipping to the USA.

Even with all the tobacco and mail regulations - you can still buy cigarettes online, so I'm not worried about vape gear.

Sir,That post was 4 days after the dead line(8,8,2016),right?....Since then,I've built,bought,sold,traded and dreamed up more new mods to build...I don't mean to come across as a smartazz if that was the idea by bringing up an old thread,I know,You know,they know I can be hard to read in My posts....I need links to other forums that make mods. Direct enough?...Thanks,Z
