Are these guys legit? I've seen a couple things I want to get from them but when I googled them I saw a whole mess of negativity about them. Late shipping, non existant shipping, wrong items, broken items, non responsive customer service, etc, etc, etc. Most of what I could find was old. Have they gotten their act together?

No, they're not legit. I decided to give them a try on their last flash sale just last month. Added about $200 worth of stuff to my cart, seemed fine, checked out. Only after completing my order did I realize that somewhere along the way they had changed all the sale prices to full price. Total fucking bait and switch. They blamed it on "exchange rate fluctuations," obviously total bullshit, and their solution was to cancel the order and give me store credit. Basically naked fraud to get an extra ~$40 out of me. Paypal solved it, and I got my refund, but I'll never place another order with Gear"best".

Thanks. That's what I thought but I wanted to make sure. I'm not really sure why I keep seeing these guys on all the deal forums/sites if they're so sketchy. A deal really isn't a deal if you don't get your stuff or they pull bait and switches. I wanted one of the Mad Hatter RDAs because I like the design, but I can't take them at their word that it's 'original'

You're mistaking a tracking label being printed for an order actually being prepared and shipped. A lot of places will print the label as soon as they get the order. The problem I've seen when looking this place up is they'll print the label even on items they don't actually have in stock and it could be weeks (if at all) that they send out the actual order

I order a couple weeks ago was my first order took about 10 days total from ordering till i got it very nice quality, both pieces came in a nice box with all the gadgets not like slowtech lol, maybe i got lucky?

I logged into my gearbest account... there's a tracking via USPS and both items have shipped out.. I was not charged anything other than the advertised sale price . So far so good

I ordered a white rx200 and a clieto tank... both showed up today. 9 days from day it shipped out from China which was exactly one day after placing order or may have even been same day. Everything in packaging as new undamaged.

So yes gear best is most definitely legit.

Told you so, they have some items i haven't seen anywhere else and you can see the difference right away the quality of the packaging, i just got a uwell crown from fasttech it leaks bad and it came on a plain little white box with nothing else

It's not a matter of whether a site on occasion does what it should. I received the 12 18650 batteries I order from their Feb or March sale, and they seem legit. But on my second order they tried to defraud me out of $40. It'd be stupid of me to order from them again.

Take your experience as a vindication of Gearbest at your own peril.

Man you two got your stuff quick as where I'm aware I could end up waiting for larger savings. There's always the expedited shipping for those that want it now however I like spreading that vape budget as far as it will go.
