Rod Fergusson, Studio Head at The Coalition, has confirmed a new feature for Gears of War 4 that should make long-time Gears fans quite happy.
Speaking with ShackNews, Fergusson said that not all players will need to own a specific Horde map in order to play it. As long as the match's host owns the map, all other players in the game will be eligible to play it.
This has not always been the case in previous Gears of War games, leading to issues when playing with friends or larger groups and dividing the multiplayer community at large.
