Writer Geoff Johns already revealed that Rorschach would be returning in the pages of Doomsday Clock #1 back during his panel at New York Comic Con, but now that the issue has released, we have a bit more information.

Doomsday Clock is a sequel to Watchmen where the characters from Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ seminal serial make their way to the DC Universe for the first time to meet the likes of Batman and Superman. It’s been shrouded in secrecy, but IGN was among a small group of press invited to a private art gallery during NYCC in October where Johns shared the contents of the first issue and gave some insight on his storytelling decisions with artist Gary Frank.
