Getting bad taste out of tank

I made the bad mistake of trying anise flavor, a component of liquorice that tastes similar.

Even with a coil change, tank rinse, and juice change, I can still taste some of the nasty anise flavor.

How can i get the taste out of my Crown and Arctic? I am traveling now, so no kitchen just a micro and fridge plus hotel bathroom.

Testing 0 or low nic juice in a BNM store on an evod gives little idea of how 3 nic will taste with 50 or 60w in a sub ohm tank.

Thanks,
Mike

Without having access to a sonic cleaner or (I use) dishwasher small item basket, you may have to rinse some more with hot water and possibly deal with it until you return home

Licorice, menthol, & cinnamon flavors seem to stick around longer than "out of town" family members visiting on the holidays :)

Easiest way is 90% Isopropyl from the drug store. Soak it in the hotel glass for a bit rinse and repeat. Finish up with a thorough rinse with hot water and you should be all set. This is for the tank components with the coil removed. Pop in a fresh coil and viola!

Main thing would be to change the O rings - those little things cling on to strong juice forever in my opinion. The rest will come out with hot water and dishsoap.

For cleaning it's fine, so long as it is washed with water afterwards. I've had zero issues in 5 years. You don't want to vape the stuff for sure, which is why you want to wash with hot water to remove any residue. If ISO makes you nervous use vodka (I prefer to reserve that for my cranberry juice). Heck for years (prior to disposable) it was used to clean and sterilize intravenous needles.
