getting started with mech

I'd like to Start building coils on a mech i Just bougt.
I'm new with all This So i'd like to keep things safe and simple.
I tough that maybe if i give you what kind of mod and batteries i Will use, you guys could tell me what kind of build i could Start with to enjoy the challenge without taking unnecessary risks.

I bought a clone, all Copper stingway x style and 2 différents type of batteries :

Samsung INR18650-25R 3.6V 2500mAh Li-Ion
VAPPOWER IMR18350 3.7V 750mAh 8A continous

I Will also use a Kraken style atomizer.

I know a Little about the ohm law, but i have no practical experience and also that Some batteries may have not accurate announced specs So i'm referring to you guys.

Thanks

I try not to exceed 75% of the batteries CDR to give myself a safety margin and that's with new batteries , I drop it to 50% after awhile . I would start out building in the 1 to 1.5 ohm rang until you gain experience . This calculater can help you with your builds and ohms law .

Here's my big beginner's guide to mechs, batteries, and safety:

http://www.vapingunderground.com/th...-sick-clouds-bro-thread-sticky-edition.78126/

There's a Genesis-specific thread on here with lots of good content, I'd check that out for info on your Kraken...gennies were one of the aspects I never got into, so I can't provide much useful advice on what to do there. As for those batteries, I'd throw the Vappower ones away or get a flashlight to use them in, and stick with the Samsungs. You can safely build down to 0.3 or so with those, but I'd definitely start in the 1.0+ range - not only for safety's sake but because from what I understand the genisis-style tanks don't really like to go sub-ohm anyway.

Also, check my linked thread for important info about good batteries, chargers, and having a means of testing your builds before install...

Btw, the Vappower batteries nevers been intended to build sub ohm. I wanted them to build something like 1,5 to 1,8 on a 18350 configuration having spare batteries So it would be easy to carry. Do you think it would be a appropriate to use those This way or is it really something that should be avoid ?

The Stingray X is a very compact mech to start out with , unless you have a need to stealth vape I'd stick with the 650's . But it's certainly safe to go with the 350's at those resistances , you might need more than one spare battery to make it through the day depending on how you vape though . I have the Hcigar Stingray X clone and it's one of my favorite mechs , I generally have mine topped with a Rose V2 setup at .7 ohms and I can get a full day out of a Sony VTC5 battery to give you a ballpark idea of use with a good 18650 battery .

I bought and wait for the delivery of 4 18350 and 4 18650.
I Will get some Sony as soon as i Can find any around here.

I totally missed that those are 18350s - yeah, you should be fine in the 1.5 ohm range that your Kraken is probably going to prefer.
