Sorry, I just can't stand by and watch as someone laughs at someone who is actively trying to figure something out. It's rude and condescending. I didn't revive the thread. Someone else did and I only replied when I got tired of watching you act all cocky. It's like laughing at someone struggling to finish a crossword puzzle that you've already done. That's mean. Only problem is, you didn't do the puzzle. You made it. Even worse as I see it.
I replied in caps because no matter how many ways I say it, no matter how I say it, you still don't get it. So I'll try and tell you again:
No one, especially myself, put any pressure on you to roll over on your ex and give out the recipe. Let that idea go. It's just not true. I never had any intention of profiting off of anyone else's work. All I wanted was to help a buddy of mine (who just had a newborn and couldn't afford $25/30ml for juice and liked the flavor.
I've hooked him up with juice for a year now without ever asking for any money. That's why I started the thread. And I certainly had no idea that anyone with anything to do with the company was even here on the forum.
I messaged you because I thought it was cool that you knew the guys from Steamjunk and was curious about them as they are local (I said this before). Nothing more. Nothing less.
I get pissed when we people act like they are better than others. Character flaw, I guess. Funny part is that you're not helping any more than I am, but at least I'm not laughing at anyone else's efforts. That's just rude. This is why I continue to post, not because of an interest in the recipe. Understand what I'm saying now?
I'm trying to understand you, but all I'm getting is that you think I'm desperate for the recipe , trying to get you to give it out, and that I intended to profit from it and "impress my friends." Is that it? If you read the thread over, I think it's fairly obvious that none of this is true. I'm not back pedaling here, but trying explain myself better so that everyone knows that I'm not the kind of person you're painting me to be. Go ahead an post our PM without editing. the juice has been out for over 3 yrs.. in Buffalo NY.. since then, it has been sold at other shops around there, for profit by people attempting to clone it.. why, who knows.. yes it is a very small company.. but it is what it is..

i cant help.. said it before.. i can say yes or no, that a flavor is in there or not.. but like i keep saying.. without being asked, or if asked.. i wont give up the recipe.. it wouldnt be cool.. and you swear no one is asking me.. and either way its ok..

honestly, if you tried to see this from my point of view.. you could understand.. its just simple..
yes i did like the juice too.. like i tried to explain.. i tried to help him with it.. I did the adverting if and when he held sales.. i was around when the juice line took off.. and then i was there when he wanted to know about clean juices etc.. but eh.. im not there now and grateful i am not.. i am doing my own things.. but i still can say if there is or isnt a flavor in there.. and laugh.. because to me.. its good.. someone still likes the juice.. nothing mean from it at all.. but youd have to put yourself in my shoes to even understand.. knowing shops in your area try to sell clones of it.. is what he told me last winter.
i have had recipes posted 3 yrs ago, using the same name, ingredients etc, sold for profit.. yes you say one thing.. but i dont know.. nor will i, you are 13 hours from me, so I doubt i will really know. I dont care if it is cloned, it only made me smile and laugh someone would still attempt. and that is not bad.. its a 3 yr old juice.
yes i can laugh and have a good time.. and for someone to take that all wrong, that is on you. i hope someone learns from all this.. and if you help someone, good.. keep it up.. and honestly.. I was surprised it did become reopened.. i was like wtf? cuz honestly, i have zilch to do with his business anymore.. thats on him. same with me and mine, i am doing my own thing, quiet well.. but imagine if you saw your ex's juice being talked about.. dont say you wouldnt say anything.. and dont think you wouldnt at least get a smile or a laugh out of it. get real.
and to me, it sure does sound like you are still upset on this.. have you not figured it out yet either?
and as for those character flaws lol.. dude.. i even told you a few posts back.. text can become misconstrued.. and i know for a fact, you got this all wrong.. and yes you did mail me first.. and like i said.. i was going thru some rough times.. sure i could post it up, but that was how long ago? and did you ever look me up and stay friends? how am i to know who you are or anything else. cuz you did then poofed. I remember adding you on fb.. but when communication dries up.. when you have nothing to say, when someone wants to be friends and then poofs.. hmm.. only after a recipe.
