I just got a wismec rx200. It holds 3 of the 18650. They are 3.7 v 2100 mAh LGDBHE41865. They are married. I think they were new about a week ago when I got them. I got from another member from here. I charged them yesterday and put into device around 6pm and here it is 9am the next day and I'm down to 1/2. Now I don't hit it a lot but I'd think they should last longer than that. I'm using a Herkales plus with .4 dual coil at 5.3 volts 74watts. Are they going bad or since I'm at 5.3 volts should I look for battery that is higher in voltage? What do you all recommend?
First off, the resistance doesn't matter here, it's all about the watts. 74 watts with a 1 ohm setup will last pretty close the same amount of time as with a 0.1 ohm setup. Voltage also doesn't matter much, that's not battery volts but voltage regulator output.
I think those batteries are rated 2500 mAh, but I'm not real familiar with them so I'll stick to your 2100 number.
At a given wattage, it all depends on how many drags you're taking and how long the drags are. I entered your data into the
Steam Engine battery drain calculator. 3 batts in series average 11.1V, so enter that into the battery voltage boxes. I used a 2100 mAh battery preset. At 74 watts you should be getting around 17 minutes total run time, or 204 five second drags (or 102 ten second drags).
I have two RX200's and I know these mods don't empty the batts all the way (which is a good thing for battery life
) so you won't get all the time from the calculator. Your battery performance doesn't sound bad to me but I vape at 40-50 watts, at my vape pace and with my batteries.
Also, when the RX200 reads half battery left, it's closer to 1/4 battery left or less.
