Goliath RDA build?

I have one. The Big one. I made two vertical coils from .22 Kanthal. The leads are long & sit in the middle of it. Took awhile but blows huge thick clouds. Flavor is rather good also.

Don't know what the sweet spot is but I'm dying to try dual parallel coils in it. I usually run mine around .5 ohms, dual 28 gauge kanthal. Waiting on 24 Gauge to come from China (been a month, now). I position the coils level with the top of the neg/pos posts. Bad ass tank all the way around, and genius simplicity, once you get to know it. I don't think it gets enough attention, personally. Just wish it had a top fill option.

I just got this RDA in today. I haven't built on it yet, but I was thinking of starting with 28 gauge wire, 6 or 7 reps or more if they fit. I have put 4 coils on another RDA before and it was good, but I am really going for 8 coils with this one. Let me know how your progress goes.

I'm not very good at close up pix. One coil @ .8 ohms. Hits like a mule. Flavor is good, but it's strictly for clouds. Puts out a Fog bank @ 75 watts.

Oh the orange paint is to line up the cap every time. It only fits perfectly one way.
Yes I have. Did not like it. For me i built two that raise up to the center of the deck. Works great. I build coils for grins.

I just tried building 8 coils and after an hour, I came to a realization that the longer screws didn't go in all the way (the top cap won't fit). I'm heated right now. I don't think I will ever build 8 coils on this freaking RDA. I think the most you can really put on it is 4 coils unless you're an advanced builder.
Stove Top coils will work. Made from flat Kanthal they look like an electric stove coil. The wick goes in between the top & bottom coil. Took me 1/2 a day to make & was a huge pain in the ass to do. Like I said, I didn't like it.
UPDATE: Okay, so I managed to put in 8 coils, 26 gauge, 10 reps, came out to be 0.13 ohms. It ended up being a lot easier than I originally thought.
I'm running it on 130 watt (4.1 volts) and it tastes pretty good. The vapor is not warm, which is perfect for me. The only con is the time it takes to get the set up going. I would probably go with a single-wire clapton, quad coil, which would come out somewhere around 0.25 ohms.
As you can see, they're kinda hideous, but they all light up evenly.
