*SIGH*

The S6 is not under recall but still makes me wonder; a pity, I truly love my S6, I've tried all the cheap-side chargers and it beats them all hands down

I am safe still using a Trustfire TR-001 charger for over 4.5 years now.
All magic smoke is still contained in unit.
Have another identical one as backup just in case.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, and you still have your first allowance of 5 cents buried in your backyard :giggle:

(Just pulling my best buddy's chain here folks)

Some of us like seeing a little of what's going on with the charging and have options for how fast/slowly we charge and the ability to charge more than 2 at a time

BTW I used to also use an intellicharger 2 bay charger as well. It went bad.
I ripped out the workings and put in 2 protected single cell charger modules and set it up to run from 12-15 volts so as to have a car charger. For under $5 in parts.

Yeah, those are lacking in the "intelli" part

imho the 2 main things to prolonging charger life.
1. if mains driven use a good surge suppressor.
2. never let the neg end of the slide just snap back up.
