Do any of you fine ladies and gents know a good battery that can be used in all three of the kbox, subox and sigelei 150w mods? I assume they all can share the same 18650 batteries?

And if you know, where can I grab it the cheapest? Ive seen some stuff about samsung 25r, i believe. What do you think? Would love to grab a nice july 4th deal.

Thanks as always, you guys are awesome. You have led me from an ego to a sigelei with dripper....well, when they get here next week :p

No, they can't. They may share the same brand and make of battery but the ones that you use in the Sig should be a married pair (exactly the same model battery bought at the same time and used and charged together) and only used in the Sig. For choices there are the Samsung 25R, LGHE2, LGHE4, LGHG2, Sony VTC4 etc.. It needs to be an IMR or hybrid chemistry of 20 amp or more continuous rating. Rather than worry about cheapest I would be more concerned that the supplier is reputable. Fortunately some of the most reputable are also the source of some of the best pricing. http://liionwholesale.com/ and http://www.imrbatteries.com/ or http://rtdvapor.com/ would be good places to look IMHO.

For your Sig 150 it depends how high you'll run it. At 150W and minimum battery voltage it will draw 23A. LG HD2 25A will serve you well. If you're staying below 120W or so then He2/4 or 25r.

For the Kbox mini, Samsung 30Q would be great. 3000 mAh and plenty safe.

Like Lefty said, you shouldn't swap cells between them. Buy a set for the 150W, a pair for the Kbox Mini and you'll be set. Grab a spare.pair if you need. 25r will work well if you. Can't be bothered ordering different cells for each.

Grab an efest LUC charger and you can charge at up to 2A so you may not even need spares.

Also gonna pile on with @Lefty - get a pair or two exclusively for the Sig and label them seperately, then a pair or two for the Kbox/Subox and use them however you want.

I have a bunch of batteries for my single-battery mods and use whatever's charged, but 4 are exclusively for my Sig and are labeled 1, 2, 3, and 4. 1 and 2 only go into the box together and rotate positions - first cycle 1 is on the left, 2 on the right, next cycle 2 is on the left and 1 is on the right. Same thing with 3 and 4 - they go into the box together and swap positions every charge. So my battery swaps look like this - 1/2, 3/4, 2/1, 4/3, 1/2...

+1 on all the comments as to battery types and the need for pairing. Another option for a vendor is lightningvapes.com. They carry the Samsung and LGs, free shipping, and 25% off for their 4th of July sale until 7/9. Code LV4th25. Bought from them many times, and always great service.

Good system but too much like hard work for me, I'd never remember that.

In my 100 W at 60 W it tends to konk out about 17%, so I charge at 20%. When the gauge first gets down to 60% I'll pull the batteries and swap them round. Doing that I've had cell voltage always be pretty much identical, to within 0.02 of eachother.

Even when I've pushed it and reduced wattages to keep the mod firing, cell voltages have been good. Very surprised how even they discharge.

I've driven mine to death around 60 too - unfortunately after about 100 charge cycles they're starting to break down...I'd been told to expect 250-300 charge cycles, but then when I posted my use habits I learned you damage the cells taking them much below 40-50%, even if the Sig will fire down into the high teens most of the time. So I'm looking at getting roughly half the lifespan I'd expected out of my batteries, but still, 4 batteries every 8 months or so won't be a killer when I consider the mod is still going strong...

Not bad, just over half a year out of 4.

Never tried it but from everything I read on battery university if I were to pull them off the charger at 4.1V rather than 4.2 I could expect almost double the.cycles. Suppose that depends if they're meaning cells we use at high amperage or something more like a radio or phone cell.

I'm always changing between my 100W, my nemi, my dual parallel beast box and my Mvp3 so it'll take me much longer to see cells start to go bad. Been using my multi meter on them once a week or so to keep tabs.on them.

Awesome advice, thanks again guys. My little 2-slot charger from efest will be working overtime!

These july 4th sales came at the perfect time...i get paid at the very end of the month. haha! Talk about VAPE MAIL next week...Christmas every day next week.
