Warning: Full spoilers for the episode below.
Bruce came face to face with his parents' killer this week in "The Ball of Mud and Meanness" - an episode with a very good scene (between Bruce and Breaking Bad's Michael Bowen as Matches "Won't Kill Babies" Malone) surrounded by the usual Gotham absurdity.
Absurdity including Gordon getting picked up and crowd-surfed against his will inside Jeri's (guest star Lori Petty) Maniax-obsessed rock club, Alfred collapsing unconscious after taking a beating from a giant thug named Cupcake (Jamar Greene) after he'd been well enough to deliver an eloquent lesson to Bruce (how many times has Alfred been hospitalized now?), and Bruce then deciding to live as a hobo at the end. On his Batman journey way early. A sort of Batman Begins Begins scenario.
