Actually I was remembering the banking bailout. And since then ones that were bailed out have gotten bigger.
imho any business whose failure would threaten the USA should not be allowed to exist.
I believe in private business and no govt bailouts for private business.
If necessary for the defense of the US or something like that then the Govt takes it over and sells it off later.
Or at least how I would do it.
There have been more and more companies getting bigger and bigger creating monopolies in tech and pharma and social media .I mean google has huge defence contracts , Rockafella and JP Morgan looks like a paupers compared to some of these guys . shit look at Amazon !

Them cutting off exports to us would hurt us a lot worse than it would them.
