I couldn't justify making payments for more than 60 months. I don't like going over 36 months. Not for a car/truck.

Exactly. It's foolish to finance a car for longer than the bumper-to-bumper warranty lasts, and downright insane to finance it for longer than the powertrain warranty. If you can't pay it off before the warranty expires, you can't afford it!
If we ever get this truck, it would be our weekend car, it wouldn’t be my daily driver... my 04 Eddie Bauer is in perfect working condition with 128k on it, looks new inside, except for minor rusting on the roof.... that’s why German cars are leased often because of the reasons you mentioned!

And more than a few in congress get farm subsidies so is it a conflict of interest/swampy corruption to vote themselves more money from our pockets?
Sooo... I know personally 2 Farmers now serving in congress..... yes they get some subsidies or benefits from the bill.... but they also consistently vote against the same bill and subsidies....
Fwiw. The Government sets the price for most AG products...... that accounts for most of what the media calls subsidies.... since when is getting paid for your product a subsidy. Well it is if you produce a government regulated product...... Ie FOOD.

I was looking at the breakdown of the county votes for the governor election results, and It was very interesting! The coastal areas voted blue, but the rest voted right! But again OUT 39 million residents of this state, only 4million voted for the governors Primary! D FUCK was that!
