Griffin 25 dual clapton

Finally have a build that's working(?) with this Griffin 25. Since I'm new to building coils my first 4 attempts were just single coils. I was not wicking properly and was getting alot of leaking.

This time.... dual claptons (26g, 32g) but am running into some new challenges.

I'm getting alot of popping. Does this mean I need more cotton through the middle of the coils?

I've tried increasing power without a difference. I'm up to 4.7v on the o.5 ohm coils.
I'm also running a Theorem with a notch coil and it runs well at 3.5v (0.3 ohms).

Do clapton builds tend to need more power?

With clapton coils, its expected to get popping and spitbacks. I have dual claptons in my 22mm version but the chimney is high enough so I dont get the spitbacks.

45W is a bit on the weak side for double claptons.
Why do you use VV mod and not VW?
What's the ID of your coils?

The device is a Cuboid and shows both volts and watts. I'm used to watching the voltage. That way if I know I like a juice at 3.9 v on on a .5 ohm build then I can start at 3.9v on a different .6 ohm build, where the wattage would be different on both.

I can't remember the number of wraps or the ID coil. I'll check and post when I can.
