GTRS VBOY 200 TC Mod with Yihi SX500 Chip

I was just checking out this new mod and it looks pretty sexy, GTRS VBoy. Very sharp looking and it has a Yihi SX500 chip, TCR, nice big full color screen, looks like it has all the bell and whistles. I've always liked Yihi chips and this mod looks pretty sweet. Curious to hear what anyone else thinks about this mod. Here's the specs.

I don't think it's available yet, I'm getting one direct from manufacturer. Should be in NA around Oct 1 though.

Whoa...I like the looks of this. A G class stand in that you can take where ever you want without worrying about destroying a $220 mod. Mark Todd seems to like the 150 that is out now. This one looks even better in every way.

Haven't seen one with a DNA chip yet. The 150 is definitely not a DNA. And the 200 is definitely a Yihi. The 150 looked like any other generic Chinese chip like that used in Joyetechs and Wismecs. Oh, I'll wait and see what the guts look like before I buy one. I don't buy anything if I can't look at the guts.

They're about to.
My GTRS came with a "Limou" chip. (wotever TH that is) The fit & finish is nice, mysterious 18650-like unwrapped batts inside.
It just won't charge past 91%.

I finished watching the video finally and it sounds like they fixed the 510 issue but I don't like that battery door issue. I think I will order 2 or 3 aspire speeders instead

Until I see that 510 plate mounted like the Sx Mini G class, I'm not interested. The Speeder is a nice mod for the money though.

The screen and button layout looks similar to the eclipse but using the nicer yihi chip than the eclipse does.

It has potential, they just need to mount the 510 properly...they said they fixed it, but until I see HOW they fixed it, I'll withhold my judgement.

I'll let you know what I find, it's supposed to be here Friday barring any issues with customs. I saw the fix for the 510, its basically a lot larger nut on the back half with a larger mating surface. It also looks like a machined nut as opposed to something stamped out of tin.
The battery door isn't a deal breaker for me. I got this with a Yihi chipset for a little more than the price of an Alien, and every Alien I've seen had a junk door that fell open a week after they were bought. I bought a brand new alien for my brother and it was crapped out dead in about 8 weeks. If this mod was costing me in line with a g-class or DNA mod, I'd be a lot more picky, but at the price point I picked it up at, it won't take a lot to exceed my expectations

Just a quick update. Issued payment with Paypal on Monday. I never order direct from China as I always hear horror stories about shipping times. It went out Tuesday morning, Cleared customs in the states last night and cleared customs in Canada this morning. In transit from Toronto and expected arrival is tomorrow by end of day. I'm pretty impressed.
