ArenaNet has revealed Guild Wars 2 has sold more than 5 million copies to-date.
The developer confirmed the figure to IGN during an interview at Gamescom, in which we also discussed the robust new Mastery system set to debut in the Heart of Thorns expansion.
At next weekend's PAX, the studio has announced it plans to hold a panel talking about the future of the MMO, with some big revelations in store. IGN will be on the ground covering the conference as always, so be sure to stay right here in case the long awaited expansion release date makes its debut.
