Half Clever by Funk Sauce ...any clones out there?

Ive been trying to get close to the Half Clever recipe by Funk Sauce for months now and I'm no where near it. It sounds like a simple recipe, Caramel Sundae. I've been working at this one so lone I've developed Vapors tongue and can't work with the Caramel flavors now. The company states the ingredients used in their line come from only three sources, Flavor West, Capella's, and TFA. If anyone can help me get the recipe for this one I'd be in your debt. I'm not big on cloning normally but I can't get enough of this juice.

What have you tried so far?
Maybe we could help you get closer.

My best guess for the flavors being used:
CAP or TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
TFA French Vanilla Deluxe
TFA Caramel Original
FW Butterscotch (maybe)
TFA Vanilla Swirl (maybe)
TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust (maybe)
CAP or TFA Sweet Cream (maybe)
CAP Vanilla Custard v1 (maybe)
EM or sweetener used? (unknown)

Thanks so much for the quick response. With the exception of Vanilla Swirl and Cheesecake Graham Crust, I've tried them all and more in various recipes. On the plus side, I now have a list of some awesome Creamy Caramel recipes, just not the one I'm after. The Cheesecake Graham Crust I have not tried yet but it has me interested. The Vanilla Swirl I didn't try because 'Half Clever" has definite custard notes. For anyone who has never vaped Half Clever, it's an almost toasty, warm Caramel intake with a sweet, creamy finish. Not sweet enough to get sick of however. This stuff has an almost cult following like some of Funk Sauce's other juices. But if it's Caramel, Vanilla , Creamy from the TFA or Capella lines, I've been working with it already.. Yes, I've tried AP for the toasty overtone. That's not it, at least not by itself. I've also tried a little Vanilla Bourbon on my last attempt. I think I have been using most of the correct ingredients but am not able to mix them to the correct percentages.

Maybe some toasted marshmallow is used to sweeten? Vanilla bean ice cream and a couple percent vanilla custard for creaminess? Sure sounds good....

Toasted Marshmallow....that's another ingredient I'll have to order and try. This forum is awesome, thanks so much for the hints. I should have tried the Toasted Marshmallow early in this obsession. I've been dancing around this one so much, I've been missing some ingredients that should have been obvious to try and work with. And 'Half Clever' is good BTW. If you have the opportunity to vape it, go for it. The Funk Sauce family have talented mixers.

It took me the better part of a year to clone one of my favorites. Keep at it....;)

Thanks for the encouragement. I've already got a couple of ideas with a huge thanks to people who posted here. Once I get a little more of this arts learning curve behind me, hopefully I can repay the favor.

I know for a fact he doesn't use any butterscotch in half clever. He mentioned this in one of the FB groups. I haven't actually tried to clone this but I do believe there would be caramel, Graham Cracker, VBIC, and maybe a slight hint of custard or marshmallow for the full mouthfeel and creaminess.

Thanks so much for the reply. This flavor is difficult for me to obtain and I am hooked on it. I have tried the flavors you mentioned. It's possible I'm going to have to experiment with the same flavors from different manufacturers. I know that FA's caramel and TFA's caramel original taste very different and this could be where I'm getting hung up. I'm sure I taste a cream in there as well. Fresh, Bavarian, Sweet cream. I've been experimenting with all of them. The VBIC has custard notes in it. I don't know if they add a custard on top of this.

And that's the thing...we don't know which manufacturer he used...I think it's mostly TPA. I think that because back when it was first created it was the most used product. Don't quote me on that though.

Good Luck...if you come close share it out. We can probably add to it. ;)
