Hangsen tobacco flavors, which percentage?

A friend of mine recently started vaping, and relly likes Hangsen Red Tobacco (he was a heavy smoker).
Now, I'd like to help him out with even cheaper juice, as an extra incentive to keep vaping. I see that Hangsen offers his preferred juice as a flavor concentrate, but I'm a little unsure of the percentage of flavoring needed to replicate the pre-made stuff. Any insight? I found this, but it doesnt make sense to me:
Essence is the key to a bottle of excellent liquid. Essence contains the majority of tobacco extracted ingredients and drives the taste and smoothness of a bottle of finished liquid. There are tobacco essence (Such as USA Mix, Gold&Silver) and neutral essence (with no flavour). The former is used to create standard liquid with solvent. The later has to be combined with flavouring and solvent to make a bottle of liquid. There is no nicotine in the essence.Note: When mixing a bottle of DIY liquid, our recommended ratio is 30% tobacco essence with 70% solvent or 25% neutral essence with 5% flavouring and 70% solvent.[quote/]

I mix my Hangsen tobacs at 6%. Let it steep for 2-3+ weeks. Your going to make some small test batches at different percentages (3-8%) to find your ratio that you like. IMO your going to have to add a sweetener if your going to try to replicate the commercial premix. I have commercial premix Hangsen highway and its almost sickly sweet compared to my 6% DIY highway. I don't like overly sweet vapes. Just build your samples without nic so you can taste a drop on the back of the hand without the sharpness of the nic and it should taste like it comes out of the atty. It may take weeks for flavors to develop but only a few days to incorporate nic into the mix.

So it's not 100% the same flavoring as in the finshed juices? Not necessarily a bad thing for a heavy smoker if it's less sweet.

I'm willing to bet your single percentage will be something between 3-5%. And tbh no sweetener. Red isn't supposed to be sweet. Start at 3% and go up half percent from there.

They are similar in taste. The percentage factor of Hangsen ranges from 3%-8% just like Alter had stated as well. Hangsen premix is usually a 80/20 pg/vg blend (premix). When I first started using Hangsen I mixed at 8% but this was many years ago and equipment has changed in the last 5 years.

I'm vaping some DJrum (kretek like) Hangsen Djrum @5% 70/30 pg/vg blend.
Just tried Djrum. I really like it. I was Vaping FA 7 Leaves but I think I like the Djrum more. FYI-Ecigexpress has it on sale for $1.99 for 10ml.
