Foot is much better today! First 4 days were horrible but woke up today able to put some weight on it. I am allowed heel walking only. Hubs is taking very good care of me! Thanks for asking!

Much better. Go to see surgeon on Wednesday to get staples or stitches out. And get an explanation of exactly what was done. All he said post op was he would explain everything when we meet in the office. Hate it when they do that. Only issue is the surgeon is 3 hours away ugh. But, if you want the best care around here you have to travel for it.How's the foot today? Inquiring minds want to know!!!!!

Well I've been discussing it over in the fugee thread, but I have joined the TC club; the SS TC with my new CF4-TC-18650's is really great; it's similar in experience to when I first got my Achilles RDAs, and got such excellent TH all of a sudden. It took me a couple tries to come up with a build I like, since I like such low-intensity vaping, but at 310F, ramp-up wattage at 25-30w, it's really excellent. I'm using a 28ga coil with 9 wraps around 3/32, which is right at .9Ω. The next, I may try 8 wraps, to bring the resistance down just a smidge, because it's trying to creep up to the 1 ohm cutoff, around .96 or .97Ω. But I really am liking it! As low-intensity vaper as I am, I think I can now say with confidence that even tootle puffers can enjoy TC, it just takes some finessing.

I love TC. It's the only coils I use in my FreeMax Starre tanks. I have the 316ss coils in my Tsunami (bought them pre built from a friend off eBay). They seem to last longer

It seems slightly more intense; same great flavor, more TH, just slightly more vapor -- so I'll still have a use for kanthal, for a slightly less intense vape, when I first get up, even when I go to bed and don't want to lie down with the potential start of an asthma attack... or anytime my asthma is being a huge PITA. Otherwise, I LOVE the great TH, and even the slight increase in vapor -- it's not enough to be a HUGE problem for me, though as noted, I'll have to be careful with it.

Yes definitely be careful. I don't get that intense vape that I am aware of, I usually keep the temp around 490F on 55w...amazing flavor and vapor and the coils last at least 2 weeks a piece. And I can vape 40mls a day lol. So that's pretty good life out of a pre made coil.

When I read "temp around 490F on 55w...amazing flavor and vapor", I think "I wish I could vape that way." But then when I read "40mls a day", I am SO DAMN GLAD that I don't!
My juice consumption might go up a smidge, using TC, but at 310F, using 30w ramp-up, I don't think it'll go up MUCH.
Currently I use about 50-ish ml a week. If I can stay under 70ml a week, I'll be happy, and it probably won't bother my asthma too much.Don't know yet how my high-gunk strawberry & cream will treat SS coils; using kanthal, I can get maybe 2wks out of a coil, since I have to dry-burn/re-wick 2-3 times a week; after a couple weeks, the kanthal coils tend to stay black even after dry-burning, so have to be replaced.

I've never been big into TC, all my regulated mods do it just never got into it. Give me raw power between 35-100watts and I'm happy

Im doing TC just because i can. I hated it with Ti, I hated it with Ni. The vape just seemed muddlled to me, but with SS its an ok vape. Now Im looking for a decent coil build for my Merlins for flavor. Going from a Supertank to a Merlon, the flavor on the Merlin is lacking a lot. Gotta figure out a coil to get decent flavor on it.

I'd stay with a single coil in the Merlin. Try a big fat parallel coil in it
Im running a 5 mm ID 24 AWG coil in them now. Flavor is still lacking.
