I've been looking for some but it seems like it's all RTAs now with 1 or 2 RDAs that are garbage.

Get the new one that changes colors like a chameeon if for no other reason then to freak people out

I want to get a double vision and a regular alliance v2, I have the 28.5mm, but definitely adding that to my list if it actually exists.

While I'm looking for RDAs might as well ask. Anybody got a clue why RTAs are the only thing releasing lately? Is it the whole convenience thing or did cloud chasing just drop off the face of the earth?

Gotta admit that it's a nice change from every RDA looking the same though.

I'm a guy who goes for the different looking or different airflow concepts, like the lancia.

I've been looking for a new rda for awhile. Nothing hits the mark for me. Actually, many of the current generation of mods and atty's seem to be half assed and/or designed by a clueless chinaman. Or they try to make them too versatile which commonly results in a device that does everything ok, but nothing real well. The practice of throwing a bunch of shit at the wall and hoping something will stick seems to be the norm. What I have now is doing fine so I guess I'll continue to wait and watch.

Seems like manufacturers went from cranking out rda's to subohm coil head tanks and are now focusing on big air rta's.

Didn't really contribute anything useful, just felt the need to bitch a little I guess. Anyway, good luck on your quest.

Your looking for RDA's or RTA's? You werent clear with the original post and its kinda confusing.
It depends on what your looking to get out of it, what you want to work on and the airflow/juice well your looking for in RDA's.

I find the 2 Post RDA's are my favorites and many are being released right now., here's a list of my recent buys (some are still yet to arrive)
Double Vision
Magma Reborn
Twisted Messes Squared
Goon RDA
Alliance Fat Boy 46mm
Aeronaut
Baal V3
Tsunami
Tugboat V3
Hobo V3.1
Stro Mini V1
PhenotypeL
Avocado

Many companies are just competing for sales and pumping out the same thing others are selling, others are taking the initiative and putting out some creative designs. Your just looking for what works for you, dont worry about what's out there if your satisfied with what you have but if your looking to buy make a list and find something that checks every box.

RDAs for cloud chasing. I already mentioned the double vision, I have the alliance v2 28.5mm and its already massive as in quad alien coil massive, not a fan of the twisted messes RDA let alone the new squared one, but I'll have to look into the rest. I've seen the phenotypeL and the aeronaut.

That's exactly what I've been thinking. Problem is my collection is small since I gave a lot of it away to friends to get them off analogs so I gotta build it up again.

You do know the only Difference between the 13 Heaven and the Twisted Messes rda is the AFC Rings and the Cuts into the Top Cap?

The new TM squared is a much better RDA, it fits coils that fill the V1 and its shorter with more airflow. Its a much better design and at first glance I thought it wouldnt be an improvement and I thought it would be garbage but the positive block and negative block gives many options for coil mounting and styles. You can use the furthest holes on both sides for series builds or the closest holes for small coils or mount them normally. You could also use the furthest holes for large wires and the closer holes for a staged heating wire...and so on.
This 2 x 24N80/40N80 Fused Clapton (7 Wraps/3mm ID @ .09) would barely fit in the V1 but it barely takes up the available space in the new version. Its a much better product and most of the time I rock the Double Vision topcap on it...

13 Heavens is the EXACT same as the twisted messes, they changed engraving on the airflow ring and the knurling on the top cap a little bit. They copied the RDA that they made for him and changed a few cosmetic features, just enough to call it a "different" RDA.

Haha, i'll ask him about it. This new atty has been in the works for almost a year, he's worked really hard on it. I'm glad to see it doing so well! There will be a new one, i know there are some features that he didn't get to add on the TM squared. In the letter he sent along with it he mentioned that this one is 80% of the atty he wants to make. I'll see what he says about the 24mm, :D

Twisted Messes or Twisted Messes V2 are good. I also like the Phenotype-L and Double Vision. Depends on how big you like to build though. All will fit a fused staple build though.

It's the AFC ring styles that kill me dude. I know they are the same but I was NEVER a fan of the twisted messes and I'm not going to start now. My alliance v2 28.5mm can fit anything I can imagine really so I'll leave that to my fancy builds. No point in buying a twisted messes for cloud chasing when it's for builds really, let's be honest.

Um, cloud chasing is what the builds are for haha. Spend your money however you wish brutha, i was just pointing out that the 13 heavens and twisted messes are the exact same atty, made with the exact same parts, by the exact same people, down to the last screw.

I mean competitive. Unless you can build a dual alien coil in 30 minutes to an hour in which case I give you props. Yes they are the same, yes great builds great clouds, but last I checked they take time you don't have in a competition. It's my bad for not elaborating it was for competitive not casual.

How do you like your 28.5 Alliance? I was thinking about getting one to use on my Phalanx triple parallel mod. I have this 24g ss fused clapton in my Centurion but I think i'd rather have that build in something a bit smaller to free up my Centurion to use on my HOGv2.

I guess Vapergate is coming out with a new 24, 30 and 42 Alliance. They are going to debut it this weekend in Detroit.

Gotcha. Actually my personal record for that is 9 minutes installed and firing haha. Nonsense aside though, The Phenotype would be good for what you do. Or any 2-post rda, simply because of the way the air acts inside. The center post (in a 3 or 4 post rda) acts like a wall for the air coming in. More air around the coils definitely helps in vapor production. You can kinda see what i mean in the shitty photo below:
09a2638e3d4e61af1e99042853e8b9a8.jpg
there is a clear space right through beneath the coils.
i would recommend the Pheno over the double vision simply because the airflow control is a LOT more versatile. Even the Dotmod Petri is a beast with the comp cap, but that will set you back quite a bit of money. The only thing tricky about most 2 post rda's is that you have to install both coils simultaneously, which is why i love the new TM atty. Two posts but each lead gets its own screw. I would look into the phenotype for sure man

I love it. It's a LOT bigger than I had first thought. As in quad fused claptons with a 24g core is no problem. Only problem is if you're using the cooling chamber you have no AFC other than the 3 rings.

I like the velocity with quad parallels/twisted for competitive but I get what you're saying. Btw 9 minutes, impressive.

I would imagine they do, its a lot nicer. He posted on instagram like 2 months ago that they were gonna be for sale separately on his website, but they're still not up there yet

Vaping AMP (Vaping American Made Products) has a new rda out called the Dually. Two post with bottom air flow, 510. For a big single coil build this looks real nice. I have several of there mods and rda's and the quality is top notch, I would have to believe that the Dually would be of the same caliber. I like the idea of a big single coil, the air is directed right on the coil. Something a little different from the norm, interesting.

I think the Geekvape Tsunami is going to beat most competing RDA's when it comes out...check it out if you havent yet.

I will recommend the Air Force one, it's the best I have experience with as of now, well the and the Indestructible(although I vaped on it for less than five minutes), my first impression with the indestructible were great, running 65w with a couple twisted coils reading .4 it was really a smooth toker, although the owner did complain about the "innovative" hidden air-flow ring and another complaint......but it was a really smooth/tasty/full smoker IMO. Okay, I hope not to ruffle feathers with this comment, but I am only telling you my experience with one sample, the TwistedMesses RDA is pretty awful. Because of the big name, I recommend it to my co-worker while at the vaper shop. Luckily he pretty new and wouldn't know the subtle lack of attention to detail that I noticed while building on it. The threads on the top-cap wer very rough and took several on+offs to get feeling somewhat smooth to here it no longer felt like it was full of sand. The finish flaked off the different colors of airflow sleeves in a matter of 3 days of little use. All this wouldn't concern me much, as I did love the weight and quality of the main body, and I like the movement and good locking of airflow settings and the solid gaskets to the base making leaking extremely minimal. The fact that the center-post, raised which is nice and it allows for a huge juice basin, but it would spin with even minimal tightening of the coils, barely tough it and it spins and jacks up the build for another five minutes. I attempted reverse tightening from the 510 and vice-versa with no luck. Anyway, not the worst if you find a deal, but don't expect high quality finish or much attention to detail on even major things, but the design is "very decent" but QC sucks. Just my opinion with ONE single sample, this my not be the norm for Twisted Messes products.

Actually 13h9h has slight modifications in post holes, afc and juice well. Design is essencially the same but 13h9h is slightly better imo.

The post holes are less then .5mm bigger...
There is different cuts to the Negative posts but that is really the only design change.
