Has anyone had any negative experience ( health) with e-cigarettes yet?

After about two years, not really any direct health risks so far. Granted I had a few minor issues with batteries. I think these issues were mainly chalked up to the general maxim, "poop happens". Even having those issues was no real health risk as I knew what to do to ensure safety. :)

Sometimes my voice can get a little hoarse after vaping, only lasts a short while. When I first started I would get some leg cramps and dry mouth due to dehydrating effects of vaping, then I learned to drink more water and stay hydrated. These days I vape diy nic salts ejuice and don't have those symptoms other than a little hoarseness sometimes. I vape high PG, when I vaped high VG it gave me tightness of chest and made me wheezy so that's not for me.
On the plus side I don't wake up coughing anymore and my lungs are much better since I quit smoking 3 years ago.

Improved health since dropping smoking and started vaping.

The only negative was that when my sense of smell came back I had to drop a hundred to get my car shampooed and detailed because it positively REEKED of old smoke.

I had a problem with my chronic dehydration becoming so severe after I started vaping that my electrolytes went completely haywire and my ankles got as fat as my calves, my feet became lumpy and so painful I could barely walk.

I fixed it by
a) adding coconut water DAILY;
b) cutting my caffeine intake by 75%-80%;
c) using Lite Salt rather than plain salt.

Cankles gone, feet not sore... no way in hell would I stop vaping. So it's a net win, since I've quit smoking, AND addressed both my electrolyte and hydration issues.

I used to smoke half a pack before and when I stopped smoking and went to vaping. I can see some health improvement and no sign of any negative impact to myself.

So nope. I just started vaping back in February 2015 and did not once regret it :)

Oh and I love grape flavoured ejuice! :inlove:

Nope. Just drinking more water to compensate for the water absorption of the pg/vg. Unless you count my wife getting mad at me for not bringing her any cake. There was no cake.. I was vaping birthday cake flavor. LOL I had to let her smell the bottle of juice to convince her.

Fairly recently lungs started to feel a bit "heavy". Did some reading and started diy using dw in my mixes, heaviness is all but gone. Vaping has been a very positive experience for me regarding health issues.

Nope only positive. Been Vaping for over two years now and off the Stinkies, the side affects? Blood pressure, blood sugar (was boardline diabetic), cholesterol and weight all significantly dropped. Energy increased and my Dentist has been very happy to see my teeth and gums significantly improve.

The health of my wallet has definitely taken a hit.

Kicking a pack and a half a day addiction @ around $11-$12 a pack where I'm at I've pretty much broke even (well that's what I tell myself anyway;) ) so all is good. It's actually become a fun hobby for me where as the Stinkies are just a filthy habit.

My greatest vaping injury is when I dropped a mod on my toe. :(

It hurt... these dam things are dangerous! :gaah:

I feel really bad for those who somehow forget to put their top cap back on, after re-dripping, and wind up with a "coil brand" on their lips.

I think my worst injury was poking myself with 29ga wire... and once got a very slight coil-brand on my finger, touching the coil when it was still pretty hot.

Dual parallel Clapton Coil build at 0.3 ohms and fresh batteries.
-i forgot to put the topcap on the rda and cauterized my lips.

No more coughing and hacking throughout the day, and my gums improved. How can this be a bad thing ?

Mind you.. Im fairly sure Im reactive to high VG. It seems that when I use 70vg juice (tried 2 different brands/flavours) I develop a phlegmy throat, but when I return to a 50/50 mix (again, more than one brand/flavour to make the test honest) everything is good again. I havent been able to find any shops that sell less vg than 50 locally.. so I might dabble in DIY this winter and test 30vg or something like that.

DIY is the only thing that saved vaping for me, since I need 85%-86% PG. The first ejuice I started with, Virginia from MFS, came in 85% PG back in 2014; that kind of PG level is unheard of, these days. :facepalm:

Other than an occasional queezy stomach due to too much nicotine or a bit of heavy lung from too much VG or scratchy throat from too much PG. All of which can be fixed easily. by adjusting Mod, coil or juice. NO Health Issues.
