There are better options for board mounting than putting epoxy on the board. Look at the chip cradle at shapeways. Fatdaddyvapes or varitube 510 for the connector. Tap the hole and screw in connector. Quality c&k buttons are cheap. You can build one better than an authentic or build a box full of junk.
I've done a couple and they're a piece of cake. Using double sided tape on the display to case and on the board to display makes it essentially a solid unit to install in the cut out in the box then just a dot of silicone, epoxy or hot glue whatever your pleasure on the corners of the board and the walls of the box. Epoxy on the USB board, up / down switches and fire switches couldn't be any easier. I would suggest taking out the stock 510 and installing a FDV. I've actually went a bit further and placed a couple resettable poly fuses in mine that took up quite a bit of room, not necessary but it makes me feel betterI've been delighted with mine and have had no problems at all.
just looks like the guy I had doing it didn't have the experience and now hes going to a Hammond box of some sort with dual 18650 batts.so who knows when or what ill end up with.like I said he said it would be easy peasy....but now after 8 weeks I don't think he is having a easy time of it.guess I wont ever send 80.00 worth of stuff to someone I don't know ever again.maybe by my year vape anniversary ill have a mod with a super outdated evolve dna 30 chip in it...lol.got til march.....Rick what a drag.im a bricklayer or a may have tried it myself.looks like id have done as well as he has at this point....cuz NOTHING is done!

Personally I don't like the Hammond boxes. I built one, a 1590brd with dual 18650's DNA 30 and used it for several months but it was just to big to tote around fit in the pocket etc.. And the slightly slanted sides from the casting was just always annoying when I sat it down it drove me crazy. So as it is now I have a true Evolv DNA 30 and a clone DNA 30 both in Fasttech Hana enclosures and a SX350 in a Vapedroid B2-S1 from Shapeways. And although the DNA 30's are "super outdated" there is nothing wrong with either of them and I use them both daily with Fogger v4.x from anywhere from 16-25 watts. The SX350 is my go to device as its just better overall IMO, More power, dual batteries, just about as compact as the Fasttech enclosure, and aesthetically I just like it much better than the Hana, Cana, Fasttech aluminum box. The Shapeways boxes are expensive but the B2-S1 I received is super easy to build if you have even half an ounce of mechanical / electronic knowledge you'd have one done in no time. there's a slot, groove or recess to fit every component. If your interested in one take a look at Vapedroid's facebook page and Shapeways. I left some comments on his FB page on my build. Anyway here's a couple pictures, the red box is a Fasttech with a clone DNA 30 inside, liked it enough I purchased a green one and moved the Evolv DNA 30 into that one from the Hammond. The blueish is the Vapedroid B2-S1 Mk1 with a SX350.
