I wanted to know if I can " mouth to lung vape " with a temp control Sigelei 75 watt box?
Mouth to lung but I am thinking of getting a temp control box.How do you typically vape?
I meant what power setting, topper, build.....etcMouth to lung but I am thinking of getting a temp control box.
I am planning on using my Kanger sub mini tank with the RBA base.your atty will be the deciding factor if you mouth to lung or direct lung hits
I use my Kanger sub mini at 12 to 16 watts , of course that's kanthal at 1.5 ohms.I meant what power setting, topper, build.....etc
I wrap my own coils so with the RBA Kanger base is there a good ohm to start at with ni200 for helping to keep a cool vape? The only real difference between wattage and temperature control.is how heat is applied to the coil ,and of course different wire
I was thinking , adjustable temp for air and no more burnt cotton also easy coil making on RBA.maybe I am missing something but not sure TC will give you any advantages as a mouth to lung vape?
Was that with ni200 wire?i did 8 wraps on a 2mm mandrel with 28ga and it came out around 1ohm ,if i remember correctly ??
adjust the temp to suit your taste
Do you build with kanthal? Building with nickel is a bit of a learning curve.I was thinking , adjustable temp for air and no more burnt cotton also easy coil making on RBA.
STM?I MTL like most. And like most, got over it. I kept trying to limit power, and control air for resistance to draw air. Then figured out there is really no point. I had a sub tank mini, and that just isn't what it is made for. Everything seems to be going for more air.
With only 15-20 watts on my box, RBA, and air open wide, the STM does great. I just got over it. The whole point of MTL with cigarettes is you can't suck much air through one, and it's just too harsh to do it. There is none of that to worry about with a STM. Suck all the air you want, and adjust power for the amount of vapor you want. Problem solved.
I got a iPV D2 cause I was done with burnt hits on the STM RBA. Tried every wick trick in the book. Made the holes bigger on the RBA, drilled new one... Now it isn't a problem. No burnt hit with temp control. But then I got a Uwell Crown... Way better coils than Kanger. Can't get a dry hit no matter what I do. It's really nice.
Yes--right now I don't have anything that uses ni200.Do you build with kanthal? Building with nickel is a bit of a learning curve.
Sub Tank Mini.STM?
This is exactly why I have switched to TC! I use both the SubTank Mini and an authentic Russian with tempered NI200. The tempered wire makes it a little easier to build with (although it is still soft and somewhat fragile). I do a 3mm, 30 guage, 5/6 wrap and it puts me right about .15 ohms. My wicking never burns so I don't get any dry hits. I usually use my SubTank Mini on the lowest or middle air setting because I am a MTL vaper. TBH, I actually like the reduced draw, as the flavor seems a bit better. Everyone is different though, so give it a try and see what you think. If you don't like it, you can always throw a new build on it pretty easily. HTH!I was thinking , adjustable temp for air and no more burnt cotton also easy coil making on RBA.
Thanks for the tips. I also make my own juice so a RBA seemed the way to go since it takes several trys to a flavor right. That way I only need to put in new cotton for a fresh start. This is exactly why I have switched to TC! I use both the SubTank Mini and an authentic Russian with tempered NI200. What ohm would you suggest to start with? That is using ni200 wire.Sub Tank Mini.
I wasn't concerned with sub ohm. I was doing 1-1.5. 28g. I'm no expert. I'm a rookie. I was just using a regular regulated box. The D2 is new and I'm trying out temp control. So far I like it.What ohm would you suggest to start with? That is using ni200 wire.
