Dev, try opening a ticket with Evolv if you haven't already. They are very responsive and have great CS. I'll dig up the link for you if needed. I'll also shoot you my address so you don't have to throw it away lmao - I'm just messing around buddy.

In addition to the original problem that spurred this post, I am having a second set of issues. When I can get it to vape in TC mode, without jumping immediately to "Temperature Protected", it's anemic, and even then only for a couple hits, then it will suddenly hit hard, but only because it's exited out of TC mode and the display reads "OFF" when firing, instead of the temperature. Once it does that, the only way I've found to get it back into TC mode is to connect to escribe, and upload the settings again.
The Atomizer Analyzer shows virtually no fluctuation, and everything "looks" good. No matter what build or tank I put on it is the same.

I had that problem yesterday with my VT75. Every tank I put on it said short and check atty too. I swapped batteries but no luck. Then I unscrewed the 510 base plate, screwed it back on and it started working again.IM DONE!!! Fuck this mod!!

I still really like my VT75 but of all my 26650 mods it has the worse battery life.

I switched to 18650 just right now, mother fucked worked for 5 seconds!!! There's something wrong with the battery plate.. it won't even turn on! all these shit makes me worried about the vt250...
Just grabbed my VT75 which was working fine last night after I thought I fixed it. Just went to vape and it says shorted and check atomizer again.....fuck.

So WTF are we supposed to do, I don't want to ship it to evolv if it just going to cost me time and postage only to get it back in the same condition. It only cost me $45 but still, weird we are having the same problem and we both got ours right around the same time.

I just removed the 510 plate and saw the threads were really dirty, probably condensation build up? It wasn't wet or even dirty under that so not from a leaking atty. I used some contact cleaner to clean the threads and used a needle to remove the gunk from the threads. I used a little contact enhancer on the 510 plate threads and battery door threads as well. It is working again, funny I put the same atty on that I was running last night at 50 watts and had to turn it down, it fired a lot harder at 50 watts than last night for sure.
I think it is the 510 top plate that is the problem, I remember a couple of months ago having to add a thin o-ring under it since sometimes it goes down too far and throws TC off. After the o-ring the ohms stopped jumping.

OK SO far so good, who said you need to vape high coils on the vt75?
Mine is working fine today too, we need to open up a VT75 repair facility, we know our shit....hahaha
It vapes fine with lower ohms but battery life sucks, when it gets to 50% on the battery it will flash the weak battery signal.
