Acclaimed, Academy Award-winning actress Helen Mirren is getting her wish and will appear in the next installment of The Fast and the Furious franchise.
In an interview with Elle, Mirren confirmed she's going to be in Fast 8 while talking about her role in the new film Eye in the Sky. "I like to be serious," said Mirren. "Of course, having said that I'm about to do Fast and Furious 8."
"But that's for the fun of it," Mirren continued. "So maybe that's what I want as well, some fun and some relevant, serious, important movies."
