This is a post from a relatively DIY Liquids guy! I ti just based on my experience and opinions to date! I offer it not as any fact but just a data point for new DIY site members!
First, I've found that I like TFA/TPA based juices with a 17 to 23% flavor percentage. I like FA based juice at 7 to 13% flavor percentage. I realize that's higher than many of the more experienced DIYers on here.
Second, As a whole, I definitely like the FA flavors best on the overall! That doesn't mean they have the best version of every flavor just that I like them best overall!
Third, Here is a list of non FA flavors that I wouldn't want to be without! Either because the FA equivalent is inferior or more likely because FA doesn't have a corresponding flavor.
FE Lemon
TPA Pinapple
INA Amaretto
TPA Cheesecake Graham Crust
TPA Brown Sugar
TPA Cotton Candy EM
TPA Pie Crust
TPA Kentucky Bourbon
TPA Toasted Almond
TPA Toasted Marshmallow
LA Cream Cheese Icing
CAP Vanilla Custard V2
TPA Sweetener
TPA Peanut Butter
List is not offered as a final answer but a "work in progress"
