I've been here for exactly 1 week, checking out your site and members. Everyone is so helpful and quick to respond. I just wanted to say Hi to everyone. With holidays coming up and money getting tight I'd figure Id try to make my own e-juice. Vape mail come yesterday and my first batch was an terrible! lol....just off the top of my head and trying to mix...not so intelligent  All the recipes sound wonderful and there is so much good information here that it is hard to wrap my head around it. Im just glad that there are people out there that are so willing to help out!! :)

Welcome to the VU.
When I mix, I make single flavor juices. When I get ones that are good then I mix two or more of the good ones together. Make small (sometimes only a tank full) batches when experimenting.
Black Friday online sales are coming. Last year a lot of the venders here had great sales.

There's a section of the forum titled "Deals and Steals". There, you'll find a coupons section, sales and promos, contests, and specialty sections. Keep your eyes on those and you'll find LOTS of good deals, not just during the holidays, too. :)

The deals for Black Friday and the holidays are usually set up to be posted in the top of those sections, kind of highlighted in light blue (sticky threads).

With your DIY, patience will pay off. Keep at it, ask as many questions as you need to. We've all been new at it and asked away. It's the best way to learn, aside from reading threads that can seem overwhelming. One day, you'll realize you're making juice you like without blinking an eye!

Thanks, I will at those sections!

I do actually have a question. I made a simple watermelon with cream earlier. I tried using the recipe calculator to figure out the nicotine and became stumped. I haven't purchased my nic yet but I do have a small 10ml bottle of unflavored 6nic I purchased previously. Im stuck on base nic level on the calculator and not sure what to put in there. My target nic is 3. The recipe was just for 1 ml: 12 drops vg, 5 drops pg, 2 drops watermelon and 1 drop cream....this has got to be super easy but Im not getting atm...I know someone will tell me and it will be like DUHHHHH!! lol

The base level of your nic needs the info:
how many mg is your nic? Here, you'd put in 6.
what base is it in? pg/vg or both.
What your target level is would be 3

LOL ok, didn't even notice that at first.

What PG/VG level is your small bottle of nic? Put that in the first spot on the left where is says Base nic level.
Then enter the desired ratio of pg/vg and nic on the next one, and so on.

Where is asks your for your flavoring content, etc - it wants to know how much you're using, the PG or VG content in that flavoring. Most, like FA, TFA Capellas, etc... are in a PG base, so you would leave that at 100%, but input the % of flavor

Print recipe was the only way I saw of getting the totals necessary for the entire mix. Of course, you don't have to print, but you can see the final results from that page.

This was a learning experience for me, I've never used theirs, LOL.

I'm about blind as a bat and I can't read the dang bottle because I don't have a pair of glasses that are not broken atm lol. I will just guess on that until I order and know for sure what I am looking at. I reckon 50/50 will have to work.
I am pretty much familiar with the rest of the chart....first two were stumping me. Thanks for explaining to me.
