I would say start with a small bottle using just that flavor to get a sense of the taste and then going from there.
Drip a drop on your finger and taste it first.
You can usually tell what the primary flavor is.
If it seems really strong tasting, start with 5% in 10ml to sample it as a stand alone.
Then you can come up with some ideas of what to mix it with.

what brand ? I have a couple cookie butter recipes I was playing around with , one with german and one FW. both were different and I never got very far with either recipe but some pretty good results. @HeadInClouds showed me some cookie butter tricks but I cant remember off the top of my head now
